In the meantime young families in the US are working two jobs and eating hot dogs to pay their health insurance.

And from what I understand, each adult has to work part time, because of Obamacare. So they get two part-time jobs, because employers don't want to have to pay insurance for full-time workers.

Imagine the running around, stress and hassle for people in the private sector. In fact, if they have young children and can't afford day care, many families split the work (one parent works at night; the other during the day). So they get no quality couple time whatsoever; few if any home-cooked meals, family time, etc. What does that do to a marriage?

I may be wrong, and please correct me if I am.

You’re not wrong. My wife had her hours reduced to keep her employer from having to provide insurance thanks to obamacare.
