It is expected that Trump advisor and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus and Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, along with high-ranking Mexican officials, will attend the meeting.
Officials expect the two leaders to make some statement following the meeting, but do not expect a full press conference.
The trip is particularly historic for Trump in that no previous non-incumbent presidential nominee of a major party has ever travelled to Mexico as part of his campaign.

I find it highly disconcerting that Trump would “campaign” in Mexico. He isn’t running for the Presidency of Mexico, he is running for President of the USA. I don’t think this is a good move.
Is Hillary headed to the Isle of Lesbos?

He is not campaigning in Mexico. He is meeting with the Mexican president.
For optics, during a Presidential campaign? Who gives a Sh@t about Mexico. Seriously.
That Check for the Wall better be in USD, Pemex and Mexican banks are in trouble.
The Mexican’s can ill afford according to the financial press to be on the next Presidents side.
In my opinion, very dangerous for Trump to visit Mexico!
Before I respond, is highly a greater degree of disconcernment than very or lower than somewhat?
Meeting around the table reminds me of the farting scene from Blazing Saddles.
To bad Cristie isn’t there to be lead Farter
Eh...it generates buzz. No one is going to accuse Trump of pandering based on his rhetoric so far. I think he can get by with this and that it will be a net positive.
Trump is not campaigning. He is already the president.
A brilliant move, even more impressive that he could pull it off. Sets up his speech tomorrow night, he’s the only newsmaker running. He has state meetings while his sick opponent stumbles getting out of cars. What a Labor Day weekend move.
Hillary who?
You guys are buolding a southern border wall.
We are gonna do the same.
It's not nearly as disconcerting or suspect as your comment.
I hope the Mexican Government doesn’t keep Trump Force 1 on the tarmac for hours.
He’s doing the people’s business. Setting up his program, then he returns to Phoenix for yet another, biggest, most-watched speech of the campaign, Hillary is a big nothing. Trump is setting up policy.
If Trump can somehow make nice with Mexico by showing how it would actually be more to their benefit that he be elected than Hillary, and that he comes out of there with even something close to an endorsement (and at the same time showing he's not a racist), that would be a HUGE blow to Hillary.
It looks Presidential.
Campaign in Mexico? How do you figure?
