Trump Announces He Will Visit Mexico In Advance of Historic Arizona Immigration Enforcement speech

It is expected that Trump advisor and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus and Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, along with high-ranking Mexican officials, will attend the meeting.

Officials expect the two leaders to make some statement following the meeting, but do not expect a full press conference.

The trip is particularly historic for Trump in that no previous non-incumbent presidential nominee of a major party has ever travelled to Mexico as part of his campaign.

There is no oxygen left for Hillary to breath. Like Jeb her low energy will make her wither and die on the vine.

I find it highly disconcerting that Trump would “campaign” in Mexico. He isn’t running for the Presidency of Mexico, he is running for President of the USA. I don’t think this is a good move.

Is Hillary headed to the Isle of Lesbos?

Eh...it generates buzz. No one is going to accuse Trump of pandering based on his rhetoric so far. I think he can get by with this and that it will be a net positive.

Trump is not campaigning. He is already the president.

A brilliant move, even more impressive that he could pull it off. Sets up his speech tomorrow night, he’s the only newsmaker running. He has state meetings while his sick opponent stumbles getting out of cars. What a Labor Day weekend move.

Hillary who?

It's not nearly as disconcerting or suspect as your comment.

He’s doing the people’s business. Setting up his program, then he returns to Phoenix for yet another, biggest, most-watched speech of the campaign, Hillary is a big nothing. Trump is setting up policy.

Are you serious? Immigration is one of the biggest issues in this Presidential race. And the charge that Trump is a racist (especially in regards to Mexicans) is one of the biggest sticks that Hillary's minions wield against him.

If Trump can somehow make nice with Mexico by showing how it would actually be more to their benefit that he be elected than Hillary, and that he comes out of there with even something close to an endorsement (and at the same time showing he's not a racist), that would be a HUGE blow to Hillary.
