The home flight simulator belonging to the MH370 pilot had a route plotted into it which ended in the Indian Ocean, officials have confirmed....

I hadn't seen this speculation confirmed before, that the Captain had programmed southerly route into his flight simulator at home.... a route that there is no conceivable legitimate reason to take, ever.

Also confirmed in this article... apparently Malaysian officials have been suppressing this info all this time. USA should have insisted it be released!!

If the pilot did indeed drive the aircraft into the sea, I can see where they would have a vested interest interest in suppressing the truth. It might really damage their tourist industry.
I don't know about others, but I have already decided never to fly with that airline. Why take a chance that I don't have to take?

No, I think they checked it two years ago but kept the info secret. They did not let the public know of this obvious indication that the captain had been contemplating a one-way long flight to the southern Indian Ocean.
True, I would never fly on an airline of any Muslim country. And it’s a good reason to prefer an airline that refuses to hire Muslim pilots and crews, except ofc that our federal govt would sue the hell out of any US airline that tried to do that. But who wants the added risks in this Age of Jihad???
Weak...the FBI finished looking at the captain’s flightsim PC in April, 2014 with “nothing suspicious whatsoever.”.
Could have just as easily been the 1st officer or someone/something else.

You link a two year old article that is contradicted by the two new articles linked above. None of us can know what’s true here, of course, but the two new articles say specific things that are not even mentioned in the old article. So what reason(s) do you have for assuming the old article is correct? The new articles specifically say that the FBI withheld the info about the southern Indian Ocean route from the public.
I’ll give you another reason. That lousy airline can’t even make it on time to a destination only 45 minutes away. I got stuck in Singapore for the night due to missing a simple connection after leaving Kuala Lumpur late—no weather or traffic issues—Malaysia is just a really stupid place and their airline reflects it.
And good luck getting a taxi in KL if you’re not going to the airport. Lazy bastards. Taxi drivers in Singapore would almost be flogged for doing the same thing.

People fly their flight sims a lot of places...he might have been playing around with a flight to Madagascar or something and got interrupted by a phone call or dinner or ? Like I said “weak”.
