This car is a piece of horse crap! A killing machine.

Tesla has passed safety tests with flying colors. It actually broke the consumer reports system.

Disagree. I like that we have this technology being made in America for the most part. Working auto-pilot would save thousands of lives every year, and help traffic.

It’s driving not understanding what they actually bought.

Working autopilot, driverless cars, will result in the following: bombs delivered on autopilot. This is a very bad idea that will not end well.

The problem we have is that many people go on auto without an “auto pilot.” Passive driving creates hazardous situations. Very few are able to maintain situational awareness once they get behind the steering wheel. Adding auto pilot reinforces poor driving habits.

The operative word there is “working”.
No, thanks. I’ll pass. I’ll drive myself and hope the other guy is, too.

Cruise missiles have been delivering bombs via autopilot for decades.

But did the battery stay in one piece.....
belongs to the heirs and successors of the driver
should be enough for a decent funeral.

The captioned photo with the driver reads like something from the ‘Onion’.
Hate to admit it - but I laughed.

The crash killed 40-year-old Ohio resident Joshua Brown, who was the
driver of passenger in the Tesla.
There...corrected it.

Is it possible it would cause as many problems as it helps. You can’t just look at one side of the story.

You’re right. Potentially a cruise missile on four tires. No suicide required.

From the article
The system's radar, Musk said in a tweet, "tunes out what looks like an overhead road sign to avoid false braking events."
It's easy to predict what's next: false braking events. Do not drive behind one of these pieces of crap.

Kind of hard for a terrorist to get ahold of a cruise missile, whereas they might be able to rent one of these autopilot cars.
