Disagree. I like that we have this technology being made in America for the most part. Working auto-pilot would save thousands of lives every year, and help traffic.

Working autopilot, driverless cars, will result in the following: bombs delivered on autopilot. This is a very bad idea that will not end well.

The problem we have is that many people go on auto without an “auto pilot.” Passive driving creates hazardous situations. Very few are able to maintain situational awareness once they get behind the steering wheel. Adding auto pilot reinforces poor driving habits.

The operative word there is “working”.

No, thanks. I’ll pass. I’ll drive myself and hope the other guy is, too.

Is it possible it would cause as many problems as it helps. You can’t just look at one side of the story.

"I like that we have this technology being made"

Do you enjoy driving? What will the government do when this becomes common? Will you be allowed to drive?

I own a sports car. I enjoy driving for it's own sake. I am not so eager to give up my liberty!

I’ll stick to my 1971 International Harvester 1210 thank you...not one computer . All systems besides the lights and windshield washer fluid dispenser are MANUAL...by the way my truck empty weighs 2 1/2 tons. Bring on your fuel efficient cars built with metal and explosive air bags...I run one of the cleanest/GREENEST (if your factor 45 years and still going in comparison to new teslas and the amount of energy used to gather their metals) tell who is smarter? The mowron who depends on a computer or a guy who knows what he drives?

I can’t wait until the perfect this technology so I can tell my car where to take me while I focus on more important things, like Pokemon Go.

200 YEARS AWAY from reliable self driving cars.

And I have all relevant University Tech degrees and experience. I counted 50 defects in a minor self driving gadget. Unless the stakeholder has the relevant background, people do not know how to count defects.

Govt loves robot cars because they can track your every move. So they let big corporations hide the defects.

Tell your insurance company those 3 accidents on your motor record are really zero.

What will your insurance company tell you??
