The NBA Allstars game is like professional wrestling. Not a real competitive contest, haven’t watched it in over 10 years.
Never did watch but all these companies and organizations having causes is getting ridiculous. They are losing customers. The NBA should shut up and play basketball like Target should shut up and sell cheap merchandise.
And this. I spoke with an teacher a few years ago, and she confessed the frustration that so many young black youths labor under the illusion that they will somehow be an NBA star. This negatively affects their schoolwork habits and future success. She added that most of these sadly delusional kids can't even make the J V basketball teams at school.
One wonders why the NBA does not address this true tragedy rather than climbing on the shameful Democrat Potty Preference stupidity?

when basketball was started, with the basket at 10’, it was a real challenge for that 5’10” player to sink a score. I remember the “driving lay-up” from a 5’9” player. WOW!!
Bob Cousy would to darn SMALL to even make the team today.
Now players 12” taller merely go on tippy-toe to drop the ball in. Others get so high off the floor, they are shooting downward into the basket.
I’d love to see the game with the basket,say, 9 inches higher. Leave it at 10’ for high school.

My city hosted this event a few years ago. Charlotte won’t miss anything. It’s a small event comparative to other league all star events. A bunch of private jets and a few club events.
This season’s score was 193-173.
Charlotte responded they would be very happy at the reduced crime rate for not hosting the all star game.
The Charlotte Hornets should drop out of the NBA until this PC crap stops.
