Thank you, Sir. You have posted the very reason I haven’t watched ANY NBA game in 20 years, and pay no attention to my once beloved CELTICS.
when basketball was started, with the basket at 10’, it was a real challenge for that 5’10” player to sink a score. I remember the “driving lay-up” from a 5’9” player. WOW!!
Bob Cousy would to darn SMALL to even make the team today.
Now players 12” taller merely go on tippy-toe to drop the ball in. Others get so high off the floor, they are shooting downward into the basket.
I’d love to see the game with the basket,say, 9 inches higher. Leave it at 10’ for high school.
