Bright colors and breezy fabrics of traditional tunics and trousers floated across the sidewalks of Navy Pier, which housed the first Eid Expo, bringing together diverse denominations and ethnicities Wednesday.
The two-day event celebrated Eid al-Fitr, a holiday that concludes Ramadan, the Islamic month of fasting. Thousands of Muslims from the Midwest attended the event to pray, mingle and eat halal food. Imam Zaid Shakir, who led Muhammad Ali's funeral prayers, led the Eid prayers.
Asma Ahad, director of market development for the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America, one of the co-sponsors along with the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago, said 20 years ago, a community Eid was held at McCormick Place, but since then, people moved to the suburbs and attended Eid celebrations at their local mosques.

Well which is it? Are they promoting Islam, or are they promoting peace?

So how will Islam dominate the world? Most likely by force! If the people do not embrace Islam and implement the Sharee’ah on their own accord, it becomes an obligation upon the Muslims to fight and implement Islam. In countries such as Britain and America, their people have clearly rejected to embrace Islam and will never choose to live by the Sharee’ah. Therefore, the only two ways in which these countries can become under the domain of Islam is by the last two options, a group of Muslims rise and overthrow the government, or an Islamic state is established elsewhere and comes to conquer these nations.

Any person who mocks this concept of Islam dominating the world has one of the attributes of the Munaafiqeen and could have committed one of the negations of Islam – disbelieving in the sayings of Allah and his Messenger (saw).

Ahhh the end of Ramadan, so does this mean we can expect Muslims slaughtering infidels to increase, stay the same, or decrease in the near future? ANy way you look at it, there will be plenty of innocent blood spilled in the name of Allah, curses be upon him.
