why now, did it all happen yesterday..?????
Ailes should sue her for the time she used in her TV appearances to push to have the dealership saved. I haven't watched Fox News in years, but I remember her talking about it a lot on the air.
I have a couple of female acquaintances who worked in the broadcast industry back in the late 70’s. Their tales of harassment sound like something out of Mad Men.
One interviewed at a radio station where the manager wanted to discuss nothing but her bra cup size for 45 minutes. The other was literally chased around a desk in circles by a TV news director.
Hard to believe any of that stuff is going on today.
I’m not sure Greta is better looking than the new Ms. Jenner, let alone Gretchen.
“From what I hear, Carlsons program is the lowest-rated among FNCs daytime line-up. Im guessing her contract was up and Ailes wasnt planning to renew it. So, Ms. Carlson creates a story about sexual harassment by Roger Ailes and makes it look like her only choice was leaving the network.”
BINGO! As soon as she announced she was leaving Fox & Friends I knew her days with FNC were numbered.
And I thought I was the only one who noticed
It appears that a lot of people noticed it was all about Gretchen, since she wasn’t offered a big raise and a contract renewal-that is no doubt why she has the rat’s ass for Fox now...
Yep, I don’t believe this but instead I think SHE is retaliating because they didn’t renew her.

Gretchen Carlson Sues Fox News Boss, Alleging Sexual Harassment Before Firing
Breitbart
http://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism/2016/07/06/gretchen-carlson-sues-roger-ailes-alleging-sexual-harassment-firing/
Former Fox News Channel anchor Gretchen Carlson is suing network chief executive Roger Ailes, claiming she was fired after refusing his sexual advances. Fox News representatives did not immediately return requests for comment on the lawsuit, which was filed Wednesday in Superior Court in New Jerseys Bergen County. Carlson, the former host of a daytime show at Fox, alleged a pattern of discriminatory behavior at Fox. She says she was fired in June. She says that happened nine months after Ailes told her that you and I should have had a sexual relationship a long time ago. The 50-year-old Carlson was Miss America in 1989. She spent 11 years at Fox.

She looks pretty well balanced to me. :)
So then we should not take her allegations seriously?
That makes so much sense. Not!
I really doubt that of all the women at Fox News, this is the woman that Ailes would want to have sex with..sorry she just isnt that attractive and Im saying this as a female,

No you’re saying this as someone who hasn’t a clue what you’re talking about. Or do you live inside Ailes’s mind?
FOX News: the prettiest horse in the glue factory.
<< So then we should not take her allegations seriously?” >>
Of course you are right. It’s just that I read the opposing side first, in defense of the firing, before I read or knew anything about a single item in her complaint.
I already frowned on the lack of taste in the dress code, for a news corporation and coupled with the opposing view of Gretchen by other staff and colleagues, I wrote what I wrote.
Also, I read just several weeks ago that Ailes was ill and sometimes wheel chair bound when he was able to come in to work, and that Murdock was present in many of the meetings for Ailes and even with Ailes.
If she proves her case and it wasn’t just another case of butt hurt over being fired, for being a repeat whiner against the guys, I will be proud that she had the courage to establish the evidence, prove it and come forward with her case. Good for her.
That’s exactly what I mean, except the guys are buttoned up and appear in professional apparel. Thx for the grin. Rita.
You probably already heard later tonight that Gretchen’s attorney told CNN that ten other female staffers have come forward, so there’s that. Who knows if they all have $$$$ signs in their eyes, or if they can prove a thing?
