Why Donald Trump's poll numbers are surging. He makes major gains among...

The Trump Bump has arrived.

After wrapping up an acutely fractious primary in which Donald Trump and his opponents lobbed scores of personal, playground insults at one another, the presumptive GOP nominee has quickly unified the vast majority of Republican voters around one goal: defeating Hillary Clinton, his prospective Democratic opponent.

Entering the general election trailing by about 7 points, Trump has rapidly erased most of that gap: As of Friday, Clinton’s advantage was down to roughly 2 points, according to the HuffPost Pollster average. And some polls, like a Fox News survey out on Wednesday, show Trump inching ahead of Clinton.

The main reason for Trump’s surge over the past few weeks? He is earning increasingly larger shares of the Republican vote — even as some prominent GOP leaders, like House Speaker Paul Ryan, haven’t yet committed to supporting their party’s apparent nominee.

But rank-and-file Republican voters are lining up behind Trump in large numbers, closing the gap with Clinton’s support among Democrats, which had been higher during earlier stages of the campaign.

“Republican voters are consolidating around Trump, and it’s been beneficial to him not to have other Republican opponents constantly attacking him,” said Democratic pollster Geoff Garin, who advises the pro-Clinton super PAC Priorities USA.

The data point to a close race in the fall, with about a dozen or so states likely to be decisive in the Electoral College — all consistent with recent history.

Problem is that the Dems have not yet had their reunification because Bernie is still in the race. So the Bernie bump is still to come for Hillary

It's really a simple choice.

Socialism, communism, loss of freedom, no 2nd Amendment, judicial activist supreme court, higher taxes, more regulations, and a spiral down to Venezuela vs. restoration of America, the greatest country devised by the mind of man in the history of the world. Unleash the Kraken!

It's your call America. Vote wisely on November 8, 2016.

Leftie web sites and “news” organizations are running scared. They may even have to throw Hillary under the bus and admit she’s a criminal and a cheater.

And if we don’t win this time. We will forever have a choice between the Democrat party and the Socialist party.

We will have reached the point of no return.

Hillary has lost 11 of the last 14 primaries and caucuses—12 if you count Kentucky, which she cheated to win. The air is going out of her tires; where’s she supposed to get a bounce from?

I wish to humbly suggest an observation of a division of labor here.

It’s up to the church to be stewards of the moral building blocks. If, as one pointed out to me, the family is the basis of the republic, look to the One who creates and sustains families, in fact for Whom every family on earth gets its name. Clearly it can’t be the government; that can muff it badly as gay marriage, easy divorce, etc. has proven.

Now let Trump and company move forward and use the building blocks in a plan that is wise and decent, but does not aspire to the level of the church.

Now let the church rise in praise for the results of God working things in their proper spheres.

Result: America great again, and yet What Hath God Wrought, not What Hath Trump Wrought.

It’s getting more and more difficult to find articles that are not hit pieces on DJT.

Hate to rebroadcast their garbage, but it is often often to tear them apart.

Ceiling after ceiling after ceiling after ceiling after...

And wouldn’t it be ironic if this did more to raise the stature of women in America on his coattails, so to speak, than all Hillary’s feminism put together ever did.

Well looking at this, I think “Praise by faint damnation.” They may be looking for a face saving rationale to jump on the Trump wagon themselves. Let them. We don’t care if they save their faces, if they give them to looking for what’s right.

My take is that even on CNN and MNBC, the criticism against TRUMP is perfunctory and half hearted.

Plainly, the Left likes TRUMP and mostly are sick to death of arthritic Hillary Clinton and her lackluster, drag along campaign whistle stops. She has long lost her whistle.

TRUMP wins in a landslide with plenty of Democrat votes.

I look for Pristine Paul Ryan to resign as Speaker of the House, before it is burned down around his “leadership” to global interests.

As Joe Scarborough has said of TRUMP, more than twice, “When you’re going 90 miles an hour, no one can stop you”.

TRUMP is driving this whole campaign from start to finish, on all sides of the aisle and building a new aisle.

TRUMP 2016

I doubt she gets much of a bump. More like a dead cat bounce.

Too many Bernie supporters despise her and will either sit out the election or vote for Trump. That, according to several “polls”.

As the election season progresses, the “enthusiasm” factor will start to show itself. That factor is owned by Mr. Trump.

If Sanders were to be the VP choice for Clinton, it would be a close race, but with what has been happening over the last several weeks, that pairing looks less and less likely.

Conservatives really are the silent majority. Many people think they have to espouse Marxist ideas in The World. But in their hearts, they harbor other views. It’s obvious to everyone that Trump is the leader we need. Eventually, even public liberals will be saying it out loud.
