NeverTrump's new goal
Breitbart.com ^ | 7 May 2016 | Ken Klukowski

Posted on 05/07/2016 2:29:31 PM PDT by Macoozie

“I agree with these folks that Trump is no conservative, and he’s more interested in redefining the Republican Party than in unifying it,” Blackwell explained. “I believe he is self-centered enough, and wants a win this election enough, that these folks can get his attention and perhaps find common ground. If not, he’ll have a problem this November.”

I liked Cruz initially but several things he did turned me away....

I’m truly curious, what in Trumps platform turns you off for him?

I mean this with no animus.....

Trade and immigration are the only issues the nevertrump people have with Trump. They can’t come out and say it, so they just sluff it off with “he’s not conservative”.

To his website and read the portions issues and statements. What litmus test is there to being a conservative? Then look at the job that the GOP elites have given us. Trump is more conservative than 90% of them.

Got that backwards. The base is with Trump. Without the base the “party” is an empty suit. The party better start listening to its base AND Trump.

So the Hillary crowd is following the path already established by Glenn Beck, and never disavowed by Cruz.

Twinkies.

Quote from Trump spokesperson Katrina Pierson:

“The last two presidential cycles we were told John McCain was a conservative. His conservative review score card is a 37%.

We were told Mitt Romney was a conservative and he was pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, pro-adoption, gave us Obamacare. And we were told to hold our noses and vote for the sake of the party.

These same people are now telling us that because their guy didn’t win, they want to hurt the party. The issue here isn’t about Donald Trump — if you can’t hold yourself to the standard you hold everyone else to, the problem is with you.”

The bulk of the republican party has no platform and no track record to speak of.

Most all of them have moved to protect themselves first before fighting for what their voters expected them to do.

The old adage is true, the republican party has the same destination as the democrats, they just take a little longer to get there.

He’s not going to give them assurance on their free market treaties. Are you mad? Trump is for FAIR MARKETS and One on One Treaties, not signing away America’s Sovereignty in a pact with ELEVEN other countries who would have the ability to decide who works where and would have free run in our country with no way to stop them. Again, ARE YOU MAD?

He shouldn’t give them assurances on one damn thing. THEY should keep their word and back the winner which is Trump!
No holds barred when dealing with scum. Wear boots and gloves and keep your powder dry!

These are not true conservatives, they are Multinationalists, Globalists, so called free traders. Only they don’t care if Jobs go abroad because they are Multinational Corps. and if labor is cheaper they will sell their American Employees out in a heartbeat. In fact we have out IT people training their foreign Scab replacements after our experienced folks get fired and the H1b visa take their place because these cheap labor low skill foreigners cost the “true Conservatives” 35 percent less and don’t get healthcare or retirement benefits. Nice scam that our Congress gave their financial supporters. Its being exposed this year by Trump and Sanders like never before.

“While the list is still being finalized, sources tell Breitbart News that the states being looked at include Ohio, Colorado, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Texas. The organizers are looking primarily to “favorite sons” in those states who they expect could carry the state against both the Republican and Democratic nominees.”

Don’t know if DT stopped reading TIME and started coming to FR or Breitbart, but he really should be.

The NeverDT’s are doing what he does. Intimidating. Doing what they should have done to Obama and the progressives. They are threatening him with a plan that should keep him to the right, keep him in his black conservative suit and red tie instead of the blue tie.

Ok. who would be the favorite sons of these states that the House would elect President? At least one thing is good, the source article finally made the electoral college understandable.

As for conservatism...ouch

“An economic conservative does not think the government can seize private property for the purpose of building a business [or ranch land?] that will generate more tax revenue, or that it’s the role of government to pay for a healthcare program guaranteeing that everyone has coverage. A social conservative does not think that the pro-life plank of the Republican Party Platform should be rewritten, or that a state cannot pass a law saying that a man can call himself a woman then go into the same public bathroom where a little girl is using the toilet. And a national-security conservative does not believe that other nations should be able to get nuclear weapons, or that our military should target the wives and children of terrorists.”

Trump supports the wage hike? bbwwahahahaha.

As for the GOPe supporting DT, huh? Cheney said he will vote republican. period. Doesn’t mean he’s for DT if he knows what the superPACs are thinking.

McCain and Romney were conservative?

Because of Palin, McCain was the last non-conservative I'll have ever voted for. There will be no Palin this time. Or evr again.
