Even if Cruz was never in the race, Trump is still unacceptable.

I agree that there will be MAJOR resistance against most anything Trump tries to do, especially the wall. He will NEVER be able to get that through Congress, but fortunately Obama has shown the way to bully things through by EO. Obama, however, has the race BS on his side, which he utilizes liberally; Trump does not.
Slick Clinton showed all subsequent politicians how to lie and get away with it. “Deny, deny, deny”, even if you’re on video, the public will not see the evidence nor your retractions but will believe your denials. Obama has demonstrated how to use bullying and Executive Orders to get most anything he wants. Trump could use the EO far more than all presidents prior to Obama but, because he is “melanin challenged”, he can never reach Obama’s level.
Trump may be able to bully things through merely on the force of his personality, but he will have a tough time of it. Much as I would like to see him succeed, I don’t foresee a wall ever happening.
There is NOTHING more conservative than stopping a permanent democrat/marxist voting majority and doing whats best for the people and the country. By virtue of Mr. Trumps position on illegal immigration he Trumps all others conservatism.

I would say so because Romney and McCain were considered ‘liberal’ and I certainly did consider them liberal and we were told by the talk show hosts to vote for them with Sarah Palin being the reason many went with McCain.
I actually voted for both those guys in the end myself.

You Teddy Bares never cease to amaze me. You call Trump a car and listen to Teddy Lie every time he opens his mouth. You claim he is working for Texas as a Senator, yet he fails to show up for his job most of the time. He is too busy playing his appointed role as savior of mankind.
Get a life. Nobody cares for Teddy because he is a consummate lawyer. He will lie about anything to make his point! He will represent anybody for dollars. Did you know he went to court to appeal a court award for an American company who had defeated a Chinese Communist company found guilty of sealing trade secrets. Teddy lost, and the American company got the money. But, I can assure you that Teddy got his silver pieces from those Communists.
How do you accept his lies about having to spend his life savings to win his Senate race, when we later found out that he lied about getting sweetheart loans from Wall Street bankers> Is that just business as usual in Texas. It isn;t for most of us that will gladly vote for Trump!

I voted for Cruz, but in all honesty, I have more faith in Trump than McCain. He always votes with the Dems when it really counts.
Policies to save, rebuild, i.e conserve, the USA sound very conservative.
All those people who oppose Trump seem to favor policies that have for decades destroyed the USA, piece by piece. They definitely are not conservative.
