Breaking: Ted Cruz makes outrageous statement on voterless election win in Wyoming

Ted Cruz on Wyoming win: "This is how elections are won in America."

Once again, voters are not represented in the process. Instead, "votes" for the nominee are gained by backroom politics. Another corrupt process by the GOP establishment.

From Fox News:

Ted Cruz on Saturday won all 14 delegates in the Wyoming GOP convention -- a relatively small number but enough for the Texas senator to declare victory and keep GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump from securing the nomination.

“We are likely to have a battle in Cleveland to decide who is the nominee,” Cruz told party members before they picked the delegates. “If you don’t want to see Donald Trump as the nominee, … then I ask you to please vote for the men and women on this slate.”

The Wyoming process mirrored that of Colorado, which was engulfed by political controversy after hosting a similar convention last week.

Heh ... first time I've seen that quote. No the biggest Zappa fan, but I like his music, have for years, been to a few "Mother's Day" concerts, R.I.P.

It's fairly obvious, since Richard Nixon, that there is no such thing as a fair deal for any voter in the United States -- You're just not gonna get it. It's a joke -- the people that you vote for, they're the next best thing to criminals. But of course they have money for advertising campaigns that make them look a little bit better than they actually are.

Also attributed to Frank Zappa

“Wyoming GOP Convention Attracts Standing Room Only Crowd!!
by WYOREPUBLICAN | Apr 14, 2016 | Uncategorized | 0 comments
Sen. Cruz, Gov. Palin, Gov. Otter to Address Convention Delegates
SATURDAY SESSION WILL BE STREAMED LIVE
April 13, 2016
Casper, WY – The Parkway Plaza Convention Center is at standing room only levels in anticipation of Saturday’s 2016 Wyoming Republican State Convention where the State GOP’s final 14 delegates to the National Convention will be selected.
GOP Presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz will speak to the delegates Saturday morning while Idaho Governor Butch Otter will represent candidate John Kasich and former Governor Sarah Palin will speak for Donald Trump.
While having a number of high profile political personalities appear at the convention is a first for a Wyoming GOP convention, it has also brought about a sell-out crowd with very limited space available for the Saturday morning session.
“While nothing would please me more than to have every single person who wants to see these speakers in person be able to, safety measures within the convention area must be respected and observed,” said Wyoming GOP Chairman Matt Micheli. “While we have very limited space available, and there are no guarantees, we will try to get in as many as possible.
“The 2016 GOP presidential race has placed Wyoming in the middle of the nomination fray, and the impact of Wyoming’s 29 delegates, while always important, has risen to another level,” continued Micheli. “For that reason and more, we will be live streaming the Saturday session of the convention for the first time ever. It has always been my intention of making this convention process as open and transparent as possible, and by putting the process in front of all those interested, either in person or on the web, I think we accomplish that goal.”
The Wyoming GOP 2016 Convention process begins Thursday with meetings of the Platform and Resolutions Committees. Friday continues with the Bylaws, Nominations, and Credentials Committees. The Saturday convention begins at 8am and will continue throughout the day and gavel out around 4:30pm. The national candidates are expected to speak between 10-11am.
Live Streaming of the proceedings will begin at 9:30am and continue until noon on the following websites:

Over 60,000 republicans voted for delegates in the caucus.

This is really deceptive, since this is referring to the "60 thousand," supposedly, who only did one thing: send delegates, with each campaign having their own slate of people out of it. This was followed up by a "vote" by 3K+ people, listening to 10 second micro-speeches, over who would be official delegates for the state.

By claiming that this was a "60 thousand" strong "caucus," meaning people voting for Cruz or Trump, is either representative of extreme ignorance about the process, or is simply a deliberate deception in order to pretend that there is some semblance of democracy going on here.

IF words coming out of Cruz’s mouth are anti-Cruz propaganda, he needs to buy a muzzle.

You really don’t want to go there 2ndDivisionVet.

You don’t want to start. You are acting as if you are now basically a Cruz troll, yet you have claimed to me you are not currently making a dime off your constant posting of pro-Cruz nonsense on this board. Which means you are not technically a troll. At least, that is what you say.

I take you at your word, but please do not go after others, with whom you do not agree. .

You are to be commended for your service to our country. You are to be commended for being a prolific poster. You are to be commended for strongly supporting Sarah Palin who you to your strong credit still support, and I have enjoyed a good relationship with you in the past, and hope to in the future as well.

But go easy on bashing others, for doing exactly what you are doing.

Go easy, dude.

>>Wow. Disgusting.<<

Yep, the process is pretty messed up. Fact is, Trump, Cruz, Kasich all were informed well in advance of the rules each state hold.

These rules have been in place since last summer, but also in place for years with minor tweaks here and there.

Trumps lack of organizational structure in these states is what is to blame. He didn't have the personnel to win.

They all knew.

I would so like to see Mr. Cruz lose every primary from here on out, by large numbers.

I would like to see him crash and burn, for his name to be synonymous with lying, cheating, crooked politicians forever.

I would like to see him be an object lesson to all future politicians as to what happens when you believe you can subvert the voters for personal power.
