No way Cruz could win in the general election if he cannot carry FL, OH and maybe PA, MI, etc.

Trump stands a better chance of carry some of the states in the balance.

If the E had gotten behind Trump we would be looking at a landslide now

Would spill their applecart. 21 trillion divvies up a lot of ways, no one wants to give up their place at the trough.

Where does it say he leads Hillary by 19%?

Agree. I will also admit that Trump has been his own worst enemy at times. He needs to rise above the childish insults. The insults would make me cringe at times.

That said, I believe Trump has the fundamental goals and ideas to get this nation on the right track again.

And Donald Trump leads Hillary Clinton by 19 points when voters are asked who will likely be the next president.

Donald Trump 46%
Hillary Clinton 27%
Ted Cruz 14%
Bernie Sanders 7%
John Kasich 6%

NET TRUMP: 19

Hillary isn’t really that intelligent and she will have to debate Trump. Yes, he needs to be less of a reality TV guy and more of a statesman, but, he can clean her clock.

DEMOGRAPHICS
Ideology

On political issues, do you consider yourself to be Conservative, Moderate, or Liberal?
Conservative 61%
Moderate 34%
Liberal 3%
Not sure 2%

So this was only conducted with Republicans. Now, can we get one with a broad range of New Yorkers? Guarantee you he’s not more favorable than Hillary.

If there is anyway he could come even close in NY, he can win other states where we really didn’t have a chance — PA, MI, etc.

“If the E had gotten behind Trump we would be looking at a landslide now.”

I thought that the fact that E wasn’t behind Trump was what made him so attractive to so many. Wouldn’t that mean that Trump would be hated now?

This poll is NOT saying that Trump will beat Hillary in New York. Look at the wording. Gateway Pundit has turned into a Trump shill. This is very poor wording of what is actually purported here. Shame to even post it and try to confuse the folks here on FR.

I can only WISH Trump could beat Hillary in New York.

Missouri just confirmed a victory for Donald Trump. He actually gained
votes in the recount and picks up an additional 12 delegates.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 12, 2016

If the GOPe had gotten behind Trump early - none of his supporters would back him. His supporters want an OUTSIDE candidate. You read it here constantly. They would HATE trump with a passion if he had been supported by Bush , Romney, or anyone else in the "establishment" Trump is only where he is because his supporters think he is a Non-politician, that will build a continuous wall with Mexico. Once he got them onboard- it doesn't matter what he says or does now. he could name Bush as his VP running mate and his supporters will still back him. Guaranteed. He could name Chuck Schumer as his running mate, and his supporters will still back him.

Manafort said while everybody was obsessing about CO this past weekend, the Trump campaign took all the committee spots in MI and AL and was set to do the same in NV.

Not really. It just implies that in NY, 1/4 of Republicans might vote for Hitlery instead of any of the other candidates.
