1952 & 1965 Immigration & Nationality Acts that governed the status of Cruz's nationality at birth defined Raphael Edward Cruz as one who...

... entered the US at the age of 4 as a “non-quota” immigrant http://legislink.org/us/pl-82-414

Section 101 (a) (27) The term “nonquota immigrant” means— (A) an immigrant who is the child or the spouse of a citizen of the United States;

PROCEDURE FOR GRANTING NONQUOTA STATUS OR PREFERENCE BY REASON OF RELATIONSHIP
SEC. 205. (a) In the case of any alien claiming in his application for an immigrant visa to be entitled to a nonquota immigrant status under section 101 (a) (27) (A), or to a quota immigrant status under section 203 (a) (2) or 203 (a) (3), or to a preference under section 203 (a) (4), the consular officer shall not grant such status or preference until he has been authorized to do so as provided in this section. (b) Any citizen of the United States claiming that any immigrant is his spouse or child and that such immigrant is entitled to a nonquota immigrant status under section 101 (a) (27) (A)

"However, like Obama, documents indicating how and when Cruz became an American citizen are apparently “unavailable” or non-existent."<./p>

Yes there is. It's called a birth certificate and the date was December 22, 1970.

"documentation exists that she and Cruz’s father voted in Canada in 1974 when dual citizenship was not permitted."

That was four years after Ted Cruz was born and thus irrelevant.

"Canada didn't allow for dual citizenship, indicating Cruz was only a citizen of Canada."

That's according to Canadian law. But according to U.S. law, Cruz was a U.S. citizen at birth to a then-U.S.-citizen mother.

Furthermore a Pennsylvania judge ruled:

Having extensively reviewed all articles cited in the opinion, as well as many others, this Court holds, consistent with the common law precedent and statutory history, that a “natural born citizen” included any person who is a United States citizen from birth.Accordingly, because he was a citizen of the United States from birth, Ted Cruz is eligible to serve as President of the United States.

Cruz had all his documents sealed b/c be knew there’d be days like this when he’d have to answer questions about what he was hiding from Texans.

Texans should be furious about that....

......and also b/c when a Dallas paper exposed he was a Canadian citizen, this Ivy League genius went through the charade of “renouncing” his Canadian citizenship.

He surely knew Canada did not recognize dual citizenship at that time.

And as you so insightfully pointed out.....he probably is not a citizen of any country.

” A Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) is official evidence of United States citizenship, issued to a child born abroad to a U.S. citizen parent or parents, who meet the requirements for transmitting citizenship under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).. “

That has got to be one of my favorites!!!

.....the spoiler - Ted Cruz - can’t win the magic delegate number, so he connives and colludes to empower the Establishment....he/s peeing in everyone else’s punch bowl....

His half-baked theology is an anti-christ compound of false prophecy and a simulated Christianization of jihad. Dominionism also serves to herd the gullible into globalism. It is all as synthetic as “Ted” is himself.

Cruz campaigns as an anointed messiah IN A SICK CULT THAT THINKS THEY NEED TO BE IN POWER BEFORE CHRIST CAN COME BACK......the “seven mountain” dominionist theories are kookier than the mass suicide Jonestown cult in Guyana.

Cruz tried like heck, but he didn’t fool evangelicals. They dismissed Cruz/s phony Christianity and put their support squarely behind Trump.

Cruz/s extreme Dominionist beliefs call for religion in every aspect of government. Coincidentally (cough), many of Cruz/s political positions.....like economic libertarianism and TPP....also fit into the far-out Dominionist teachings Cruz learned form his father/s preaching.

The elder Cruz preaches that Christians are divided into Kings and Priests,.....the kings (politicians) go out and conquer the financial world and bring the money back to the priests (pastors in contemporary terms).

Ted and Heidi Cruz/s economic libertarianism also dovetails nicely w/ globalist Goldman/Sachs-—who financed Ted into office. G/S is Heidi’s $700,000 a year employer. So it looks like the Cruz/s have a head start in getting money back to the pastors.

Cruz should tell voters:

<><> what role does he plan for his preacher father in the US govt,

<><> what govt job does he plan to give his G/S globalist lawyer wife?

In the infamous Goldman Sachs NAU report. Heidi Cruz’ comment is under Additional and Dissenting Opinions on pages 33 and 34 of the paper. It is one of the corroborating opinions (not dissenting).

[quoting Heidi Cruz ...] I support the Task Force report and its recommendations aimed at building a safer and more prosperous North America. Economic prosperity and a world safe from terrorism and other security threats are no doubt inextricably linked. While governments play an invaluable role in both regards, we must emphasize the imperative that economic investment be led and perpetuated by the private sector. There is no force proven like the market for aligning incentives, sourcing capital, and producing results like financial markets and profit-making businesses. This is simply necessary to sustain a higher living standard for the poorest among us—truly the measure of our success. As such, investment funds and financing mechanisms should be deemed attractive instruments by those committing the capital and should only be developed in conjunction with market participants. — Heidi S. Cruz

“Common Law” backs a hell of a lot more of our unalienable rights that statute does...

That's because the origins of common law are from Our Creator and therefore they are found in the bible, from creation, women & children were of the nationality of their husband/father respectively.

extensively reviewed all articles

Maybe the judge should have actually gone to the statutes at large so his decision wouldn't look so blatantly ignorant.

On March 10, Attorney Stephen Pidgeon, lead counsel for the North American Law Center sent a letter to Texas Secretary of State Carlos H. Cascos on behalf of a legal citizen and voter in Texas

Wow on behalf of one whole disgruntled Texas voter...DEVASTATING! Now let's see proof that Cruz ever put the interests of Canada over those of America, anyone? From THE HILL

Until the Supreme Court decided otherwise in the 1967 case of Afroyim v. Rusk, a U.S. citizen who voted in a political election in a foreign state would forfeit his or her U.S. citizenship. From that point on, dual citizens have maintained their right to vote and hold public office without penalty.

Anyone can become a dual citizen, even members of Congress, high court judges and top officials of the executive branch. There’s no law or regulation against it. Nor are they required to disclose such dual citizenship.

I'm more upset with the '67 decision that opened the door to Mexicans and others to continue voting in their country of origins elections, just one more reason for them not committing to be Americans.

When the democrats go after him on this issue, do you think the GOPe will have his back? Heck, no. They’ll help the democrats and throw him under the bus and either install their own gracious loser or let him dangle and use the issue to beat down conservatives. Hence, the name coined for Ted by another freeper, “unipatsy.”

Bttt. Thanks for the post.

I just find it amusing that some Texans could not find a native born son and instead elected a damn yankee. You can't get anymore yankee than Calgary.

He actually became a citizen when he was born, period. All the lawsuits that people want to have will be just as successful as the ones against Obama...Let’s quit trying to strain at gnats and elect a new president.

Cruz isn’t the front runner. But part of the reason that his attacks are having an effect is that Trump dignifies each one with a tantrum type answer.

It’s the citizenship of Ted’s mother that matters

And there are rumors of investigations about that

If his mother’s records are sealed as some have suggested, then I smell smoke

"And US law says that Cruz is a naturalized citizen per the Immigration & Nationality Acts of 1952 & 1965."

A completely different issue than the one I was responding to.
