New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedom PAC -- the state's evangelical political action committee -- has endorsed Ted Cruz for President ahead of the primary on April 19th.
Rev. Jason McGuire, NYCFPAC's executive director, stated in a press release:
Republican voters in this years presidential primaries face an important question: Which candidate has the convictions, character, and political acumen to win the November election, clean up the wreckage of a failed presidential administration, and restore respect for the rule of law to an unaccountable federal government? NYCFPAC believes that the answer to this question is clear. Because of his outstanding conservative record in Washington, D.C., Sen. Ted Cruz is NYCFPACs choice for the Republican nomination.
Since taking office, Sen. Cruz has provided much-needed accountability to the Senate Majority, challenging its members to live up to their campaign promises by fighting back against Obamacare, against lawless immigration actions, and against other aspects of President Barack Obamas ill-conceived and dangerous agenda. In so doing, Sen. Cruz has revealed himself to be the rare public servant who is unafraid to disrupt a deeply dysfunctional status quo and to back up strong words with effective, principled action.
New York has been estimated as an easy win for Donald Trump, the New York City native and businessman has a commanding lead in the polls there. But after Cruz's big win in Wisconsin Tuesday night the race may trend a different direction.

Wow, that is big. I hope that preacher doesn’t do the things Ted does.
The GOPe-Canadian makes my skin crawl.
Maybe he'll break six per cent now......
:-)
Thank God, he doesn’t do the things the Donald has done.
Cruz had 100 people and 1 protestor who Ted didn’t invite on stage. He threw him out. LOL
That is real momentum.
Point is, he does! And adds the preacher con for laughs.
I thought he would get the endorsement of the Brooklyn Bridge.
Unfortunately for GOPe Cruz, the NY evangelicals are strange people and comprise less than 20% of voters in NY.
But Jeff Roe likes to announce every fricken endorsement he can including ones he makes up out of thin air and including clowns and characters, like Pee Wee Herman, etc.
Donald will take his home state of NY’s 95 delegates with a majority. Cruz could not get a majority in his home state.
Yawn, snooze with Cruz.
NY? LOLOLOLOL
I don’t see ted winning NY but if he did it would indeed be a glorious day.
Do you like "Rocket mortgages?"
So when the Donald used religion, it was just for shits and giggles? he was just trying to con people by pretending to be Christian?
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
“the state’s evangelical political action committee”
you mean reince preibus / ted cruz directed PAC
THUMP YOUR BIBLE BABY .......

NY DEMS OUTNUMBER REPUGS 2/1
trump will stomp trusted and the laughable is ... lightfooted kasich may come in second
NY IS FUBAR ....... a real cesspool with big bird and crazy cuomo sipping on the straws .......
Two weeks ... and Cruz is done.
Cruz won’t get close to winning NY in the primary, or the general election for that matter.
You’re saying this preacher has been married 3 times, cheats on them all, pays off politicians so he can screw over other people, and has been for and against abortion depending on the day?
“And adds the preacher con for laughs.”
Don’t even know what that means.
There are evangelicals in New York? Who knew?
