Wisconsin Feels the Bern While Cruz Gains Momentum in Upcoming Primaries.
Emerson College Polling ^ | 4/4/16

Posted on 04/04/2016 7:04:43 AM PDT by justlittleoleme

In the GOP race, Cruz is now five points ahead of Donald Trump (40% to 35%) with John Kasich at 21%. Two weeks ago, Cruz had a 1 point lead over Trump (36%-35%).

If Cruz is the primary winner, he will win 15 delegates, Cruz is also ahead in five of the eight congressional districts where three delegates will be awarded to the winner of each district. Trump is ahead in the third district 49%-24%, while the second and fourth districts appear to be toss-ups between all three of the candidates.

In contrast, both Sanders and Clinton hold very high favorable rating among likely Democrat voters with Sanders at 83% and Clinton at 70%. The poll suggests that the open Democrat primary will consists of 68% of registered Democrats and 28% Independents. Clinton leads Sanders 50%-45% among registered Democrats but trails Sanders 62% to 32% among Independents. Early voting also favors Sanders 52% to 38%.

So if Cruz wins tomorrow that is 2 out of 10 contests in a month and that is momentum. Ridiculous!

They say he’s gaining but +5 is his lowest lead this week. Trump’s closing the gap but these Emerson polls are all Cruz. Why aren’t other polls out?

Already a few Trump supporters are posting Cruz is doing terrible comments. If Trump gets the nomination, it will be really interesting to see how Trump proves all the polling data wrong: Mainly that his negatives are higher than anyone else running. And mostly loses badly to either to Hillary or Bernie.

Wisconsin is probably the last state Cruz will win. Possibly South Dakota.

Yep, the "momentum!"

What other candidate has lost as much as Ted Cruz, but still has the media constantly saying he's surging, while the frontrunner is declining? Week after week after week of this nonsense, shouldn't Trump be polling at 5% and Cruz 80% by now?

Cruz wins Wisconsin, the media will explode telling us that we should just cancel the remaining primaries, and anoint Ted Cruz grand poobah of the GOP.

I believe if he wins that makes 2 out of 10 and makes his 4th primary state .
Third in the ever important swing states.
Never win a single county in VA, FL which we need to win in a general.

After this they go to the north east where cruz is well above Trump in , oh wait, , well maybe , no wait, er , well it , no , well cruz will go to CA and pitch his tent while Kasich stays in the north east so both of them can keep fighting for the establishment against us the voters.
