The Optimus poll where 6000 people were polled Trump is at 29%, Kasich 26%, and Cruz at 25% with a margin of error of 1.14%. Again this poll has 6000 polled. The other poll, the Marquette poll polls 471 people and finds Cruz at 40%, Trump at 30%, and Kasich at 21% with a margin of error of 5.8%. Interestingly, there is no mention of the Optimus poll anywhere when you google "Wisconsin polls" but Marquette is plastered everywhere. You would think that a poll polling 6000 people instead of 471 would give a better picture of what is happening especially when one only has a 1.4% margin of error and the other has 5.8%. The media seems totally disinterested. Conclusion! The Wisconsin race is wide open and Trump has a very good shot.

I hope Trump pulls it out in Wisconsin. Otherwise the anti-Trumpers will be pushing out a lot of FUD for the next two weeks. A Trump victory in WI will pretty much seal the deal as we head into Trump friendlier states like NY, CT, NJ and PA.

The Optimus poll is a robocall poll - not very reliable methodology overall (Rasmussen used to do robocall polls). Also, I can’t find much of a track record for the company to judge by. That may be why most people don’t pay a lot of attention to it.

The Marquette poll is supposed to be the premier poll for Wisconsin politics.

Wisconsin is funny, some polls had Walker down or tied in the recall election yet he walked away with it by 7%. The fact that it’s an open primary, not a stupid caucus, and that I think there are a lot of blue collar Democrats who have disdain for the University of Wisconsin eggheads and occupier types and who just want good paying jobs and less DC control hopefully will be crossing over to help Trump win.

Delegates are won by congressional district.

I think there is more importance placed on Wisconsin for Trump that is warranted. He will win delegates even if he does not win the state...which I think he will win regardless of Marquette’s poll.

But, more importantly Trump looks great moving forward for picking up a couple hundred more delegates in April.

What is amazing to me are the Cruz and Kasich supporters who know that their candidates cannot win the nomination prior to the convention. Yet, they are helping them to deprive the people of their choice. It is despicable.

For decades as the UniParty ranks have swollen – and with them the advanced political machinations to retain power and keep control over the electorate….

Depending on the battle-space, national, regional or state voters have historically been viewed by those within the Machiavellian consort as sheeple masses, pawns to be shifted from here to there depending on need. The professional political class and the professional corporate media class working hand-in-hand to further their own self-interested agenda.

wisconsin state mapHowever, with the advent of rapid, engaging and transportable communication their grip on information has diminished severely. It is no longer necessary to take to the streets just to identify there are more of us than them.

Understandably, this is a source of much consternation – and as a direct consequence the owners of the social media communication platforms have been enlisted, many corrupted, to aid the modern usurp.

Everyone would be wise to remember, from the perspective of those in power, information is used to manipulate behavior. Polls are tools, we have continually warned of “agenda polls”, “push polls’ and polling done by Political Public Relations firms on behalf of the people who pay for them.

When you to accept that polls can also be tools for disinformation you can look beyond the top-line message and review the intent from the messenger. Two recent polls from Wisconsin highlight the bizarre world of information contrast.

Take all of this poll data with a grain of salt. Instead look at the visible activity you can rely upon. The crowds, or the raw data which has not reached a filter.

Last Night – Between 8 and 9 p.m., when Cruz answered questions from Anderson Cooper and GOP voters in Wisconsin, CNN averaged 2.78 million viewers, 853,000 of whom were in the demo. Between 9 and 10 p.m., when it was Trump’s turn, CNN averaged 4.04 million viewers, with 1.33 million in the demo.

That’s 45.32% more people who tuned in to watch Donald Trump than watched Ted Cruz on the same show.

Kasich was on last, between 10 and 11 p.m. During that hour, CNN averaged 2.97 million viewers, with 999,000 in the demo.

CNN’s closest competitor during the evening, Fox News, also saw a boost when Trump appeared on Sean Hannity’s 10 p.m. show. Hannity’s program with Trump averaged 466,000 in the demo, almost half as many as watched Kasich on CNN. (link)

In Poland, during the solidarity movement, it was widely communicated:

We took to the streets and looked around; it was then that we noticed we are more.

It was then when we noticed there are more of us than those who oppose us. It was then when our psychology changed.

From that movement forward, we began to win….

The Takeaway?….

GO VOTE !

But have you ever seen this version ?

Wisconsin is where we got much of what we now know as the GOPe. I think it’s a foregone conclusion only being talked up by people who want Trump to lose and the inside-the-beltway crowd to win.

An alternate conclusion is that the Optimus Poll is a Trump robotic push poll. If you have a look at the questions asked, it sure looks like one to me. In other words, I think it is suspect.

For example, the poll asks specifically about Trump, Kasich and Cruz - in that order. A genuine poll rotates the choices.

Another point, and any statistician will confirm this, there is no reason to poll a sample size of 6,000 respondents. it is absurd since meaningful results can be obtained with a sample size one-tenth that.

I think I will stick with the reputable polls. If one comes out that puts the marquette poll in doubt, I’ll rethink. Until than, the Marquette poll looks good to me.

Reports are Cruz is dumping all remaining resources in WI, it’s obviously a must win for him.

He is clueless about what it means to be pro life.

If Trump loses Wisconsin he should get out of the race so that the party can unify behind Cruz.

The Wisconsin race is wide open and Trump has a very good shot.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Not only is the race wide open, it will turn out more voters than ever because of Trump.

Trump has the union vote because of his trade positions, and Trump also has the anti-Walker vote, which at this point is substantial among Republicans.

Not only does Trump have a shot, Trump will beat Cruz like a drum. The Optiumus poll is a precursor poll with 5 days left to the primary in Wisconsin, Trump will climb like a trooper while Cruz will muddle. Trump will take the Optimus poll from 29% to about 43% to 53% later in the week.

Hopefully Trump will continue talking down his chances prior to the WI vote. He’s spent the entire year in a series of personal fights with individual women, attacking them for their looks, for menstruation, etc. Now he’s saddled himself with the notion of “punishing women” for abortions. Not sure what else he can do on the woman front to drive down his chances. Hard to top the awful week he just had.

Winning elections is all about voter enthusiasm and how energized the population is to get to actually show up and vote.

For those who bothered to actually read the internals, the takeaway is Undecided and thus Cheeseeaters are in play. A good thing.
