Only one candidate in this POTUS race will save the American nation...and that is simply, factually.....DONALD J. TRUMP!!! Back in 2008......I posted a zillion times that Barack Hussein Obama was a mortal enemy of these United States of America. Coming from his background and twenty years in the “Hate America Church” of the “traitor” Rev. Jeremiah Wright...the handwriting was clearly on the wall for all American voters to see!!! However....no one heeded...and...goodness ya all, got exactly what ya all deserved!!!
Measure up Ted Cruz with the similar likes of Nutcase, Fanatic, Religious Moron, Glenn Beck, total loser, buffoon, Mitt Romney and “she ticks you off when she says good morning to you” Carly Fiorina ,”Correct Trump define, with her face of hate & coldness”.......Ted Cruz will lead us down the path of lies, envy, hate, and failure!!! This guy Cruz IMHO...is not worth the time of the day!!! And...to boot...it was Ted Cruz that launched and started the “food fight” by posting the photo of Melania Trump!!! We have to have a wall, real fence, some sort of physical barrier. This has to go hand in hand with strictly enforcing immigration law, and other laws regarding border issues. At the same time social services, etc. needs to be cut off for illegals. It will have to be a package deal to work. I believe it will work if done as a package deal and will certainly fail if only parts of the puzzle are done.

I appreciate your patient, teacherly ways and your immense compassion for a fellow FReeper... but I don't believe you at all. I think you do not know and have nothing to back up your claim. If you did, you would have made an educated guess.

Not completely wasted. We've had our moments. Unfortunately, the system is so broken and out of control that electing a populist with a few cutesy slogans and the promise of bringing in some of his 'terrific' friends as advisers is akin to a bucket brigade bailing out the Titanic.
Donald is a dealer. If he can use the stick to encourage the acceptance of the carrot, he will. Nobody gains from punitiveness for punitiveness’ sake.
A better trade picture would resemble something more like barter than like one-sided purchasing. American food for Chinese trinkets. And the shipping companies would be happy because now they aren’t sending mostly empty containers on one leg of their journeys.
His actual record was that he supported BOTH Republicans and Democrats as does most every businessman. The RECORD shows he gave MORE to Republicans but somehow you wussies never seem to get that through your heads.
Somebody has to patch it too... granted.

I’ve never seen so much outside-of-the-box thinking before about foreign policy, and yet, so much of this outside-of-the-box thinking seems obvious after you’ve thought about it for a couple of minutes.
1. Trump is right about not having toppled Mideast dictators (in the name of “Democracy”). The West would be FAR better off if the Mideast status quo from a decade earlier had been maintained.
2. Much of current foreign policy is simply stagnated momentum leftover from WWII and the cold war. What good does NATO actually do the U.S. right now other than to potentially drag the U.S. into stupid, useless wars in which we have no real dog in the fight, e.g. Turkey p!ssing off Russia? Half of the old Soviet Union wants to join or already has joined NATO. The old Warsaw Pact is long extinct, so what is it exactly that NATO is countering? If Europe wants to keep NATO, then let them pay for most of it.
3. Nukes for our allies Korea and Japan are a fine idea: nukes keep pretty much EVERYONE with a military from attacking you. Period. So if our Korean and Japanese allies had their own nukes, then the U.S. would no longer be obligated to protect them militarily. So if Korea and the Norks nuke each other or if Japan and China nuke each other, the U.S. wouldn’t automatically be obligated to engage in nuclear war.
4. And if/when we do continue to provide military protection to rich countries like Saudi Arabia and South Korea, then yes, let them pay for it. Why shouldn’t they?
And finally, besides formulating a 21st century foreign policy instead of coasting along on an obsolete 20th century foreign policy, Trump’s foreign policy ideas are brilliant from a political perspective as well, since you know damn good and well that that fool Hillary Clinton will feel obligated to knee-jerk oppose whatever Trump says, which is going to cause her to come off as a major war-monger, which will NOT make her look tough, but instead will p!ss off quite a bit of her pacifist base. No doubt this latter is a deliberate manipulation on Trump’s part.
Cruz is the one how has put himself above his country by joining forces with the GOPe. Apparently by your snarky remark you don’t put American first.

It’s a stupid phrase with no actual discernable meaning.
So when you guys come up with something other than “Trump is tricking you....because reasons”, then people will take it as more than a lazy argument.
