There is yet to be one iota of evidence that links Ted Cruz to it, that’s why I quite clearly said EVEN IF IT WERE TRUE. And just to walk you through the logic, which was also quite clear, nobody ‘went after’ Trump’s wife. She is a model. She has had her naked pictures published for everyone to see, unlike Heidi Cruz. So, basically your buddy Trump is upset that a PAC that opposes him posted the TRUTH.

And no, Cruz has not been ‘wallowing in the sleaze’. Give me one example of that BS.

Of course not, thats how Ted rolls. Ask Dr. Carson about Iowa. See, Ted has his purveyor of sleeze, Jeff Roe, do his dirty work. Then, like a the girly man he is, feigns innocence. Of course he apologies much later, after the damage is done. There has been several posts saying that Jeff Roe purchased the pictures. Somebody had to pay for them before they were put in the ad.

And once again, it is wrong to go after candidates wifes. Implying that Melina Trump is a slut and that you should vote for Cruz because of that is flat out sleezy. And yet, it took over a day for Ted to say that the ad was wrong, only after being prodded by a reporter and after getting enough time to play the victim. If you think its fair to talk about the candidates wifes, perhaps you would have no problem with Heidi Cruz and the CFR, or even dabbling into her "episode". Of course, the ends justify the means, right? He's losing and needs over 85% of the remaining votes to get to 1237 and anything goes?

Aha! That outcome just proves how crafty and diabolical this guy Cruz is. The fact that there will never be any evidence clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of this con artist's ability to stage a cover-up.

Welcome to the new world of Trumpistic logic!

Vanbasten, I think you are missing the issues here. There are three questions regarding the pictures.

1) Were any rights secured. If Liz Maier used the picture without securing the rights she is in legal hot water.

2) If Liz Maier secured the rights Did GQ have stipulations on how and how not the picture can be used and were those stipulations violated. The photographer Verglas believes there was a violation here how his photo was used.

2) Did the Cruz campaign secure the rights to the photo and if so, how did they legally pass along their rights to Liz Maier.

I think those are the three issues here. If the photo was of a coffee cup, and not Melania, the issues would still be the same.

Do you remember when artists would get upset that their song was being played by Trump at his rally. Trump paid for those rights so the artist had nothing to stand on...Same situation with Rush Limbaugh using the Crissy Hynde song. Its a matter of artists rights.

Now if the Cruz campaign secured the rights of the picture, they could face legal challenge for pass along the pic to an unauthorized entity for use. The challenges would be both by the feds as well as the photographer and GQ.
