If this does turn out to be false, then this will elevate Cruz. So it could really be good for him.

I am not concerned who is the most likable or cutest or most like me or a “true conservative,” whatever that means. At this point I care mainly who is best for this country. This means protecting the borders, stopping this suicidal bringing in of Muslims who hate us, and promoting jobs for Americans.

"It would be really terrible if Cruz got crushed because of a stupid scandal like this. I hope it is not for real."

I wholly support Donald Trump, but it would really pain me if it is true that Ted Cruz cheated on his wife.

"To quote coach Vince Lombardi...Winning is not everything, it is the ONLY thing!..."

But there is also winning with class which coach Lombardi believed in as well. Trump is running a scorched earth campaign that I don't support. If he is such the obvious choice and wants to be the accepted winner, then he needs to start acting like a leader instead of someone with paronoia who has to attack anyone who disagrees with him.

Trump has 10,000 times more friends than you will ever have. End of argument.

Funny how those things goes, heard the same thing about the dom

I’m sure it’s just about appropriate venue

I expect lots of chicks and booze in a New York billionaires penthouse.... not in a Pentecostal Church

Trump made no bones he has been Mr Saturday night

Cruz always pretended he Mr Sunday morning...ever day

Mr Saturday night guy can clean up and be Mr Sunday morning guy on Sundy

But Mr Sunday every day is just a liar the rest of the week

Like now it’s OUR fault that St. Ted of Calgary cheated?

This is the typical liberal mindset. Ignore the crime, blame the accuser who “made” him do it.

Oh, goody.

Let's watch all of the "polls don't mean anything, Trump will slaughter Hillary" Trump supporters slobber all over this poll for a while.

No, for me “character” matters. “Hypocrisy” is a subset of that. But since the hippie-era generations, it’s really only been the latter that has been the be-all, end-all, in the wide spectrum of the cultural transgressions. Because it gives such easy liscense for people to engage in whatever horrid behavior they want, as long as they profess to lower standards. I’ve never bought into that as some kind of “character” whitewash. I’m going to stick to my old beliefs and my old values, regardless of how low and bottom-feeding the country gets.

One thing that so revulsed me about the 1990s Clinton scandals is witnessing how easily people re-ordered their standards to fit the new reality of Clinton’s horrific behavior. And that too, is why I feel so strongly against a siren-call of following down a path of justifying behavior my gut finds repugnant. I found myself doing this numerous times regarding Trump, discounting several of his questionable moments.

50% of Republicans chose Donald Trump while 37% chose Mitt Romney, and 13% indicated they were unsure

Dovetails nicely with the Trump/Cruz matchup since, effectively, Cruz is now Romney regurgitated for a third try, so to speak.

We are electing a President not a Pope

Trump would make a crappy Pope
Cruz would make a hypocritical one

Trump would make a good President
Cruz would make a hypocritical one

"Trump has 10,000 times more friends than you will ever have. End of argument."

I'm sure he does and it doesn't bother me at all. God Bless You and all of us Americans. I pray we will see tolerance and understanding as we move forward instead of the continued attacking and intolerance to listen to other ideas.

Thank God trump doesn’t apologize. That a highlight of why I support him. I am sick of weak men apologizing for everything. Get over it. Trump screwed some ladies back in the day and doesn’t hide it. Refreshing. Cruz weak as can be also screwed a bunch of women but is hiding behind the skit of his wife and Carly Fiorina and blaming trump. Cruz is a psycho. Probably killed a few woman in his day. He has quite a temper.

I'd like to see Trump's cabinet filled with patiortic successful business people willing to save our country and ask fro nothing in return. Their annual salary would be $1.00.

I know of a dozen successful retired CEOs and COOs whould be willing to accept this responsibility. I'm sure Trump knows dozens. Carl Icahn is one that's been mentioned.
