The tolerance and understanding for which I was asking in the post you replied to, was referring to the supporters from both sides. I see that I didn’t make that clear enough.
Embarrassed to express my opinion? No. Never said that I support Hillary or any democrat, it’s just that Trump’s behavior and temper, in my opinion, are not befitting the President of the United States.
I think polling Trump vs. Romney is quite logical.
They polled only Republicans, so if more Republicans would vote for Trump than did for Romney, and we know that Trump is attracting more indies and dims, then Trump should have more total votes than Romney did.
I wish they had done the same thing and polled Democrats about Hillary vs. Obama, that would be interesting as well. I doubt more Dims would choose Hillary over Zero, which means Hillary will get fewer votes than Zero did. I can’t believe as many Republicans will vote for Hillary as Dims will vote for Trump.
Trump=better than Romney & Hillary=worse than Zero, means Republicans win the general.
That would contradict the Hillary vs. Trump direct matchup polls.
I have no hatred for Cruz or his followers and will vote for any Republican candidate over Mrs Cosby.
Cruz was one I admired until he came out on three issues: his pretense that the NBC issue is a matter of settled law when it is anything but; his piling on with CNN in its slander of Trump through a LIE about a endorsement that never happened; and his holding Trump responsible for the Chicago riot. I was totally disgusted with his inability to recognize the enemy or his political opportunism to join the media lie about Trump provoking violence.|
BTaiM, I have yet to have a Cruz supporter explain just how he will be able to win with a semi-socialist electorate when he cannot win with a semi-conservative electorate.
Behavior and temper? Let’s examine the behavior and temper of most politicians - their behavior is to kiss ass and lie, most show no temper even when they are volcanic like LBJ or ornery like Truman. Give me a break, more than the ability to dissemble is required to be President.
Now consider the FACT that Trump has put together immensely complex and detailed projects. This means he HAS the behavior and temper to work with people of every sort. Another thing to consider is the incredible loyalty the people he has employed/married have to him from his retired butler to his ex-wives and the relationships with his children. There is nothing in this concern about b and t.
At this point COURAGE, determination and recognition of what we are facing is what we need in a president. On all points Donald Trump is the man.
