CNN’s Tapper, Trump Battle Over Rally Protests: ‘Report it Right’
Breitbart ^ | 3/13/2016 | Pam Key

Posted on 03/13/2016 7:22:29 AM PDT by 20yearsofinternet

Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” after an extensive questioning from host Jake Tapper on the recent protests and violence at his rallies, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said he was not encouraging violence and accused CNN of misreporting.

Partial transcript as follows:

TAPPER: Now, protests on the campaign trail are obviously nothing new. I have seen one in every previous election I have covered, but in every one I have seen before the leader on the stage tries to lower the temperature, not raise it. Do you ever consider whether you should be trying to lower the temperature when these protests erupt?

TRUMP: I think in many cases I do lower the temperature. I tell the police, please take it easy when people are punching the police and trying to hurt people. When I say things like I’d like to punch him, frankly, this was a person that was absolutely violent and was like a crazed individual. A lot of them are — you know, I don’t even call them protesters. I call them disrupters. A lot of them come from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)16%, whether he wants to say it or not, and if he says no, then he’s lying. Bernie Sanders, they have Sanders signs all over the place and they’re made by the same people that make the regular Bernie sanders signs. They’re professionally made. And we have great rallies. We have by far the biggest rallies. We have 25,000, 30,000 people at rallies and out of that you’ve had very little problem.

When did Trump send his supporters to disrupt other candidates rallies?

He should have also said that few Hillary supporters take part as disruptors, because she is such a low energy candidate, that her supporters are also uninspired and low energy.

How soon we forget. It was just last month on the 30th.

For the first time I watched an entire rally since it was in my hometown last night. He handled it with grace. He wasn’t able to say much the first 30 minutes about his positions but he talked to the “disruptors” and described them and anticipated them accurately. He asked for more and when no one else stood up he went on and then five minutes later one would start in and he would stop and told security “get them out of here.” The last one started in in the middle of a poem he was reading and just at the moment when the snake said, “shut up woman.” Great timing. He said he had all night if that’s what it would take and he had great timing. A bit thin on details but it was a rally not the reading of a position paper.

I think we do need to be careful about assuming the protesters are from particular campaigns. Even if they’re wearing a Bernie shirt or chanting ‘Hillary!’ doesn’t mean they’re supporters. Thinking about that old loon wearing a Trump shirt giving the Nazi salute who turned out to be a Bernie supporter, I think. The Left loves to use disinformation.

"He should have also said that few Hillary supporters take part as disruptors"

First, those who violently attack rallies should be called domestic terrorists, not disruptors.

Second, it may be that the terrorists are told to carry "Bernie" signs to avoid showing their connection to the Satan's daughter.

So let me get this straight.

David Duke does not endorse Trump (he himself interviewed some time after the brouhaha, confirms such), yet Trump is linked to the KKK and the Nazis by the other candidates and press en masse.

Bernie supporters close down a Trump event, William Ayers is photographed / filmed there, there is extensive Twitter and/or Facebook history showing explicit planning, as well as e-communications among Bernie supporters congratulating each other afterwards, "We did it!" and disruptors interviewed by the press are unable to come up with cogent reasons for their presence.

But you blame Trump?

Bernie had the chance this morning to denounce his supporters going to Trump rallies with the intent of depriving attendees of their First Amendment rights. He didn’t. So now Trump is doing what Trump does. What if he counterpunches and tells his supporters to attend other rallies? I don’t like where that could lead. But is there any alternative if our first amendment rights are trampled on?

i still have some reservations about Trump but in many ways this is the guy we/I’ve been waiting for since Reagan- not afraid to call the media out for the BS artists they are!!!

since Bush’s second term i told the GOP whenever they called me for $$$- when you start fighting for the party they way i fight for the party then I’ll consider donating...now I tell them i’m not a Republican, i’m a Tea Party conservative...

Cruz, Rubio, and Kasich get almost no disrupters because no one outside of their supporters believe they have much of a chance to be nominated. None of the malcontents wants to waste their time going to one of their events.

Judge Jeanine to Trump Protesters: ‘The Silent Majority Will Not Be Silenced’

Fox Insider ^ | 03/13/16 | Judge Jeanine
Posted on 3/13/2016, 7:26:51 AM by Enlightened1

“Since when if you verbally lean right are you responsible for the left’s physical reaction?”

Judge Jeanine Pirro weighed the question in her opening statement Saturday night on Justice, in light of the recent violence seen at Donald Trump rallies.

“Since when if you state an opinion are you responsible for someone’s reaction?” she asked.

“Since when do you have the right to interrupt my First Amendment right to listen to a candidate for the highest office in the land?”

“This is America. Not the Soviet Union,” said Judge Jeanine.

“Your free speech, if it differs from mine, doesn’t mean that you’re right and I’m wrong, and therefore I must be silenced.

But that is exactly what the left tried to do in Chicago last night, and again moments ago in Kansas City to more than 25,000 who came to hear Donald Trump.”

Protesters, of course, have the right to dissent, said Judge Jeanine.

But “you cannot defend assault by arguing verbal provocation,” she warned.

“This is America, you cannot stop us and you cannot silence us. Beware the sleeping giant – the silent majority of us. We will not be silenced.”

Hey, that is not fair. First, I lose an hour of REM sleep due to daylight savings time, and I have had only 1 cup of coffee.
