Friday, March 11, 2016: At a media availability in Chicago, Ted Cruz basically blamed Donald Trump for the violence and protests that occurred earlier in the day at a Donald Trump rally at the University of Illinois-Chicago. The rally had to be cancelled due to safety concerns.

Wow. Just wow.

Hat’s off to Teddy. He said what needed to be said. Now by gosh, I think that every Cruz supporter should take that youtube vid and spread it far and wide. Show how Teddy stood up to that nasty ol’ Trump.

The Cruz campaign could spend millions of dollars on ads and not do any better of a job of defining exactly who Ted is and what he’s about. The essence of Teddy, in his own words.

Trump let a bunch of children shut down his rally:
“Believe me, that’s not going to happen to Trump.”

“That will never happen with me,” he said. “I don’t know if I’ll do the fighting myself or if other people will, but that was a disgrace. I felt badly for him. But it showed that he’s weak.”

Clearly Trump’s weak.. a soft little baby.

I take it you are not a Trump supporter and that is fine. Do you support Senator Cruz? Do you agree with Sen Cruz that Donald Trump is to blame for the Chicago protests tonight? What about the thousands of people who wanted to hear Trump and were denied? Their right to free speech was violated tonight. What do you say to those people?

It was an orchestrated protest. Trump just told Hannity that the protesters all came at one time, proving that they had a time set by organizers to get inside the hall. Trump named Move On as the possible organizers. Trump got information about the situation from the Chicago police. He did not want his supporters hurt and went by police recommendations to terminate the rally. Those who organized the rally should be worried that their effort will backfire. And, if it was proven that they instructed protesters to commit violence, we have an illegal act.

Completely different incidents.

A few malcontents vs hundreds, maybe thousa ds hellbent on inciting a riot.

He put Americans first by cancelling that rally.

Invite him to come back, he will. Just make sure security is ready.

He has made enough “Tough” statements to make it seem like it’s violence is an acceptable response. The media has been going out of their way to point it out.

I don’t watch his rallies but I’d still like to attend one.

Never expected to see that comment on FR. It just goes to show how low Cruz will go to promote himself.

Ted is becoming more whiney than Obama.

Maybe about the same. They were both Harvard graduates, junior senators and illegal aliens when the Uniparty placed them.

He IS taking a chance. Taking a chance for a peaceful election. Are you saying that he is using the Chicago mob to incite his own followers to follow him blindly?

Do you agree with Sen Cruz that Donald Trump is to blame for the Chicago protests tonight?

I strongly disagree with what Cruz said. He should have called him a weak soft little baby who let a bunch of children shut his rally down. :-)

I’m a Cruz guy and I agree that it was good to cancel the rally.

You support BLM and thugs.

And so does Cruz.

And what happened tonight will only strengthen Trump.

I have read many posts tonight saying they were Cruz fans,
but are now Trump supporters.

I have never seen anything like this on this site before.

“It’s like he walks right up to tornados and stands.”

I believe that Trump’s superpower is speaking from the heart to the brain to the mouth without guilefull editing, and free of politically correct editing. Not since Reagan have I seen this.

To be certain, he lacks eloquence. I give him a pass on that. Truth, neat.

Ted swung more votes to Trump than even Trump could tonight.

Made a bigger whining weenie of himself tonight than he did last night at the debate.

He's done for.

Actually I am more from Chicago than anywhere else since I spent 37 years in that town. It was a great city when I arrived back in 1962. I rode city buses at all hours of night without a problem. It is now a hell hole, sadly.
