LOL that’s about the most outrageous (and funny) political theory I’ve heard to date.
Mike Lee endorsing Cruz mean’s that Cruz’s internals are terrible??
Laughable if it wasn’t so out there are stupid.
Then why did Senator Lee wait so long? He’s heard Trump say in every debate that Cruz doesn’t have one Senator, why didn’t he come forward? Cruz is on defense, just watch.
Cruz may be on to losing the race however given that possibility, even if conceded, this endorsement by Lee says two things:
1. It’s real
2. Lee is loyal to Cruz.
I’m sure Lee sees the prospects for Cruz aren’t good and that’s why the two points above are facts.
Yet they would dance cartwheels if the endorsement went to their side and they'd rub it in our faces. Quite juvenile in fact. When a simple, adult, "congratulations to the Cruz camp for that win" might suffice and would perhaps show character.

Anyway, what is it with Trump supporters that disallow any form of deviation from the Trump Plantation? They seem unable to articulate "I disagree with them on this particular issue." They seem compelled to attack and ridicule all who do not align with Trump and Trump alone.
Reminds me on the way Democrats treat Blacks.
My guess on Mike Lee is because he’s equally friends with both Cruz and Rubio (he’s said so in the past).
Cruz is not on the defensive, but then again I can’t change a person’s opinion, only present that polls indicate Cruz rising..Will it be enough to topple Trump? I am not sure at this point.
I don’t think Lee is in the Senate to be Cruz’s friend.
He’s there to represent his state of Utah. He is picking a losing proposition over a winning proposition when he could be trying to get in on the ground floor of both a win in November and the eventual administration.
I think that’s more important for his state.
Now trumpsters will declare Lee is gopE and will support his opponent cause no one challenges trump
I did not attack Senator Lee, I love him. I’m just saying I think Cruz is out there begging, telling people the conservative movement will die if he doesn’t win.
As to whether Lee believes it or not, I think his endorsement this late speaks to his lack of confidence in Cruz.
Harry Reid pretty much invalidates your ridiculing stereotype of Mormons.
Harry says nobody can get along with Cruz. He also said he could work with Trump.

It took him so long because his alliance with Cruz damn near cost him his seat, folks.
Cruz’ Senate floor antics resulting in the gov’t shutdown meant the 5 National Parks in Utah were OUT OF BUSINESS during one of the busiest times of the year....autumn. This cost the state MILLIONS of dollars in revenue; people were laid off, hotels & restaurants had to be temporarily closed. Tourism is the #1 industry in Utah. People were here in buses from the far east photographing our....grocery stores, if you can believe it.
Ted Cruz essentially shut down an enormous chunk of the Utah economy due to his “performance” that’s why. It nearly gave Mike Lee a very well funded primary opponent that would have probably beaten him. It also ended up changing our primary system, because of this. Only now, with all that dust having died down, can Mike Lee endorse without consequences.
Ted Cruz is one selfish SOB. With a “friend” like him, you wouldn’t need an enemy.
Even Rush is today saying that 1) everyone else has to drop and 2) Ted would need the GOP in his court to even get to the convention.
Lee still hasn't endorsed Trump. I think that speaks of his lack on confidence in Trump.

My respect for this piece of garbage is gone. I wonder what the vast Mormons think. I had better be Trump of they are done for me. I thought Mike Lee was more intelligent than he now appears to be if this is true.

Exactly. Where all these Ted Cruz haters were not even a year ago I’ll never know. They sure weren’t on FR. It’s amazing who’s been thrown under the bus around here in favor of Trump.
Cruz, Levin, Rush, and now probably Sen. Lee.
If I were of a conspiratorial bent, I’d wonder if FR hadn’t been purposely infected with leftists posing as conservatives, all in favor of the “most electable candidate” once again. Save a few screen names, I haven’t seen 90% of all the anti-Cruz people before last year.
