Conservative radio host Mark Levin endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) late Wednesday as a tribute to former first lady Nancy Reagan.
“I decided today was the day ultimately because of Nancy Reagan’s death,” he said on “LevinTV.”

Mark has the right to endorse whoever he chooses without any criticism from me. It is hardly a surprise to anyone on FR that he was going to endorse Cruz. However (I’m sure you expected a “however”), how many freepers remember October 29, 2002? Paul Wellstone’s memorial service was turned into a Democrat political event. Using the death of a beloved public figure to advance a political cause seems to reflect bad taste to this country boy. Mark had no need to reference Nancy’s death other than to add force to his endorsement. We would rightly criticize political grave dancing if Democrats do it.

Yep. Funny how Levin has been hailed on FR since it’s inception until the Trumpmunchers started taking over 5 or 6 months ago.

Like ANYONE couldn’t see for over a year that Levin was in the tank for Cruz, or whoever owns him. Sad to see him sell out.

I’m obtuse a lot of the time and it’s not your fault. I think Levin is a good person, but in this instance I believe he is wrong.
My position is that all this jockeying at this point just serves to divide us and allows the real enemy, the GOPe and the RNC, to pull another in a long line of lies over on us.
Unlike Beck. Levin has said he will support Trump if he’s the nominee. I bet you’ll love him then. Then claim you’ve always been his biggest fan.

People here are put off that he’s wrapping it around the passing of Mrs. Reagan. It’s as crass as when Beck used Scalia’s death to politic for Cruz too!

I just finished watching it. He said her death got him reflecting on his time in the Reagan Administration and led him to the decision. But then again, I actually watched the entire thing.

Well then you need to contact this media outlet and tell them that the QUOTE they are using never actually happened.
