The Hill ^ | March 06, 2016 | David McCabe

Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh said Sunday that there's a "much bigger upside than downside" in the Republican presidential candidacy of real estate developer Donald Trump.

"I think with the case of Trump, there’s a much bigger upside than downside," said Limbaugh while appearing on "Fox News Sunday."

To my way of thinking, Rush is reading it right.

Rush seemed to be more inclined to support Cruz.

Rush supports whatever brings in $ for himself. It’s his job.

You don’t think Rush is actually a conservative?

I suppose he isn’t if he does not grovel at the feet of the one you think he must. Overall, it was a very good interview in that Rush is now trying not to show himself for one side or the other, as it should be. Now Romney is another story. Just like all establishment pukes, he can’t bring himself to run against the opposition, unless it is in his public party affiliation.

I think he’s generally conservative, just not necessarily moored to any particular positions nor candidates.

At the end of the day, he know he has a business to run. And his business is that of infotainment.

“Rush supports whatever brings in $ for himself. It’s his job.”

He has said matter of factly, that he does better when a libtard is in office, for obvious reasons.

Rush’s obvious preference for the only conservative in the race, Cruz, has infuriated a lot of the Trumpets.

He’s an entertainer. He’s said it himself. He loves money. If he thought he could make more money, he would balance a ball on his nose.

Rush is a rock-ribbed conservative.

Senator Cruz is running on traditional conservative values.

Seems pretty simple.

As am I, but I think Rush is right on this.

If the nominee is Trump, I’m going to support him, and I think he could wind up being a pretty good President. Not great like Reagan because there will be times he will betray us, but pretty good overall.

ROTFLOL.

I started listening to Rush in the late 80s when he was local in Sacramento.

He changed. He’s a company man. (Not cia, establishment.)

Just think about this. ALL the GOPE canidates are out or capzised and sinking.

I never thought I would see the day again when the PEOPLE, not the money, picked the nominee.

This should be a time of great joy for this website.

Cruz and Trump are a perfect tsunami for our team. Cruz fires up the base, Trump can attract the cross over and indy voter who normally go Democrat.

If one or the other wins, without eliminating that bridge to the other side, Nov should be the best GOP year in decades. It potentially could be better even then 1980 since we did not get the US House in 1980.

Which is why it is important to keep the Senate and House in Republican control. We may need the leverage to use on Trump.
