It might not happen right away. It may begin gradually this week. If it really starts to look like he's pulling ahead, it will become unbearable.

The GOPe won't allow either of our choice to rise to the top. They're doing everything that they can to throw this election.

No matter how this plays out, we cannot allow Clinton to take the White House.

I pray for all of us.

As a strict-constructionist conservative I will vote for Ted Cruz at every opportunity.

No, GOP are fine with Cruz over Trump. He’s solidly establishment on all the big issues. Didn’t you hear Romney? Did he say a bad word about Cruz?

Cruz wont win a big population state apart from Texas.

I predicted 40 Trump states, 10 Cruz states.

Hopefully Kasich is emboldened in the north from Portland Maine to Portland Oregon.

Kasich seems to be their last hope now.

A good day for Cruz, he worked hard for it and got some breaks. That’s how it’s done.

TED CRUZ LIVES!!

By the way, Ted Cruz has been receiving “incoming” for years now. We’re battle hardened.

The candidate with the most delegates gets the nomination. Period. Cruz or Trump. One with most delegates is nominee. Flush Little Marco.

Rubio was a Gang of Eight member siding often with Smucky Schumer so he is dead to me.

Huckabee won 8 states in 2008. Cruz is currently at 5. Not worried at all. And I don’t recall a President Huckabee back then.

You’re more than correct.
The GOPe and MSM will try to make an example of both of them.

I look at it like this.

If Trump isn’t strong enough to defeat Cruz, then Trump isn’t strong enough to defeat Hillary.

If Cruz isn’t strong enough to defeat Trump, then Cruz isn’t strong enough to defeat Hillary.

If neither Cruz or Trump is strong enough to defeat each other, then the GOP will steal the nomination and give it to someone who will not defeat Hillary, and will lose both the house and the senate.

That’s about where we are in America today.

Whatever is going to happen is going to happen.

I’m happy to see Cruz have a good day, and I’ll be happy to have this come down to Cruz and Trump. I could get behind either one. But like someone said upthread, “And I’ll get on my knees and pray.....”

Thank you for a great post.

I am a Cruz supporter who has made it clear that Trump deserves to be heard and to be treated fairly, and that if he wins the nomination he has my support.

I have also congratulated Trump supporters here on his NH, SC, NV and Super Tuesday wins, they were solid.

If Rubio and Kasich drop out, Trump will either pick up enough of those votes to get anoutright majority, or he won’t.

The GOP-E is fit to be tied for as long as Cruz is #2 to Trump, or if Trump were #2 to Cruz. Collectively, they want neither. Singularly some fear/dislike one more than the other. Big Ag probably fears Cruz more, Big Political Consultancy fears Trump more. Overall, they want neither.

Get rid of Rubio, and MAKE them pick their poison, show themselves as thieves at the convention, openly support HRC or pick a John B. Anderson type to back.

I am for Cruz, I respect most Trump supporters. Let’s be on the same team this fall.

Amen, Marie! I thing the vast majority of us who favor Trump would have any doubts about voting for Cruz if he should become the nominee. I’d like to say the opposite is true but my sense is that more Cruz supporters are not clear on who the real enemy is.

Trump & Cruz are the anti-establishment candidates.

Trump's appeal is he is not a politician, not PC, is not bullied by the MSM.

We've heard both sides say they will never vote for the other.

I am not one of those and hope there are not many.

I'm Cruz/Trump.

I'll support and defend Cruz till there is a Trump nomination.

Two questions for which we may soon know the answers:

1. Can Rubio win Puerto Rico tomorrow?

2. How far can the Media/GOPe go in trying to spin a win on that island territory into "game-changing momentum" without breaking out in laughter.
