TRUMP/KASICH 2016 (Vanity)
3/4/2016 | self

If Kasich wins Ohio, we will see a Trump/Kasich ticket.

Why Kasich?

1) If he can carry Ohio in a significant fashion it will be extremely helpful for the electoral politics in which the GOP is disadvantaged. 2) Trump will want to balance the ticket with experience and someone like him who believes they can work with Dems as necessary to make progress. (Not every time like the GOPe) 3) Kasich brings a sense of quiet and calmness to the ticket which will get some who are nervous about Trump onboard. 4) Kasich is a conservative and has decent real life successes in government. 5) Kasich has foreign policy experience. 6) It's a good fit and there are little wounds to heal as both tend not to attack each other in a fashion that cannot easily be overcome - unlike both Rubio and Cruz.

When a presumptive President asks you to serve your country, you do. Just like the generals will do.

That would be the tipping point for TONS of people I know. People just aching to move on from Hillary. This would do it for them. No doubt.

Kasich is the logical choice. He is a governor and can probably deliver Ohio.

NO!!
Live in this mess of a state for a few years and then get back to me.
He’s uninspiring and he’s been running for President since he was first elected to the House back in the 1990s. Then he had a show on FNC to try and raise his national profile, failed at that, then came back and easily won the Governorship from a failed Democrat hack that even Rubio could have easily beat.

Don’t beleive it. Kasich like the rest of these guys has stood alongside the best negotiator in modern business history and they’ve learned you don’t say yes or no - you negotiate a better deal. Kasich would bring the legislative and executive experience Trump needs and has a complementary personality/style. He’s been a Governor, he’s been in Congress, and he’s young enough he could become Potus in 8 years. So if Trump offers, I have no doubt there will be a negotiation.

George Bush was no Reagan, yet he served Reagan well.

Honestly, Rick Perry or Scott Walker would probably be more valuable to the ticket. If Rubio had behaved himself, he would be the front-runner.

If he’s Trumps VP none of that matters. VPs do not set the policy direction, they follow orders from the President.

Might as well go with a Trump Hillary ticket. It would not matter.

Honestly, Rick Perry or Scott Walker

Perry's out for obvious reasons, Scott Walker is too, well, low energy.

Kaisch said he doesn't want it.

None of them want it when they're still running for the top spot. It's amazing how many of them change their minds the day after dropping out.

He'd take an advisory position in the blink of an eye....but not VP.

Still say Walker...

George Bush was no Reagan, yet he served Reagan well.

Unfortunately, he didn't serve the country well after he won in his own right.

I'm pretty sure Trump would make Kasich cry the 1st week in office.

Kasich reminds me of combination, John Boehner and Joe Biden.
