Talk radio host and Fox News Channel anchor Sean Hannity declared a New York Times piece about his position on immigration reform and the Gang of Eight was "a bold-faced lie" and added that he was "getting pissed off at [GOP presidential candidate Florida Senator] Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)too" over his performance during the debate and on the trail during his radio show on Monday.
Hannity began by talking about the NYT article. He stated that other talk radio hosts, such as Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, and Laura Ingraham wouldn't change their principled opinions on any issue. He further said that in 20 years at FNC he had never been told what position to take on a single issue, including immigration.
Hannity further stated that after the 2012 election, he did say "out of anger" and "off the cuff" that he had evolved on immigration, if there was border security first, a comment that he regrets. He added that he does know of anyone who has done more to highlight the issue of illegal immigration than he has.
He further declared the NYT piece "categorically nothing but a bold-faced lie about me." And said the piece's author should have reached out to him first.
Later, Hannity said, "I'm getting pissed off at Marco Rubio too. ... Marco, you're being inauthentic. You're not Donald Trump. Stop trying to act like Donald Trump. And stop trying to be something that you're not.

He’s always bragging about his martial arts skills. Kick some NYT ass, Sean! Don’t just talk about it!
Don’t get mad, Sean, get even. Get behind Trump - the only man who has the ability to defeat the GOPe. Cruz ain’t the one.
Very interesting. Who could he sue? /s
He mentions both of them. He likes them both.
From someone who has had many many street fights so much so I have no idea how many , and been in boxing most of my lie then there is a big difference Hannity needs to finds out about fighting.
Hitting pads or sparring when you know it will not come back and hurt you is very different from knowing someone could rip your ears off or break a few bones or even kill you.
Dirty air, dirty water blah blah.
We may be watching the slow death of talk radio. All talk know action. I would rather watch the Trump Reality Show.
lining himself up to say he supported trump all along
I’m not sure i believe him. Why woukd Rubio lie?
I stopped listening, probably five years ago. It’s all podcast or youtubers for me.
ROFL WHAT?!
Hannity throwing Rubes under the bus. Rush, still not.
The people on YouTube are far better than these guys, that’s for sure.
Regardless of everyone’s views here about Donald Trump or Ted Cruz, I think we can all agree no one wants Rubio.
Am I right???
Best Hannity Show in a long time.
Rubio has turned in to a caricature of himself. I was watching some of the rallies this past weekend and all Rubio could talk about was Trump’s misspelling of the word “choker”. If I was a Rubio supporter, and I’m not, I’d be pissed.
Not after the Gang of 8, no.
Rush made the error of publicly calling Rubio a “full-throated Conservative”.
