The flailing, incompetent GOP establishment: Reince Priebus’ new plan to control Trump

Ultimately, this post is about Reince Priebus, the theatrically incompetent chairman of the Republican National Committee, and his latest attempt to persuade the GOP establishment that heâs not as impotent and helpless as Donald Trump makes him look.
(SNIP)
The plan, in other words, is to persuade the man who ran roughshod over the entire party establishment to do what that very same establishment tells him is best. The idea, presumably, is that the candidate who won by flamboyantly breaking all of the unwritten rules will suddenly listen to those he vanquished. Why? Because of ⦠voter data. And field operations. And so he doesnât sound âinflammatoryâ or âdivisive.â

One can dream. I wish I had that much confidence in Trump's ability to clean house in the civil service ranks. Obie has followed Bubba's routine and that party has stuffed the bureaucracy with hundreds of loyal RATS that will be impossible to get rid of. Bush was not successful in cleaning out the Klintoon staffers in the intelligence agencies/departments. Or he just wanted to go along to get along like so many in the Gelding Old Party today in this era of a nation filled with girlie men - not saying that about Bush but about the population in general.

Did you read the whole article? Really disgusting garbage. I am tempted to start hitting the abuse button on every Salon posting.

I posted this on another thread , but it bears repeating ...
I think Trump will reverse the damage with the quickness ...iâm not a big fan of Gingrich , but he was on Hannityâs show the other day and he said Trump would be the only effective agent of real change in the right direction in all aspects ..I was impressed with Newtâs assessment

"I want Trump to get situated, then demand the RNC reorganize and clean house." I suspect, as is his way, he will demand nothing, he will just clean it.
One of his ways of doing things is, instead of denying attacks on him, he just makes the other person's life miserable for attacking him. This is effective in cleaning house too - don't fire them ... make it miserable for them so they either comply or leave.
He makes it not worth it to disagree with him - a lost art.
As the country and world has become feminized (and that's nothing against women, it's just not good to be a world of ONLY women) ... as the world has become feminized, and Trump isn't, it's become socially unacceptable to use force - psychological - which isn't always bullying, to get stuff done.
It used to be called "my way or the highway", but today, it seems only liberals practice it while simultaneously denouncing it and using it only to bully people into silence. Like the Force ... used for good, it's good, used for bad ... it's what we live in now.
