Donald Trump is leaving the door open to not releasing his tax returns, just hours after Mitt Romney warned Wednesday that the billionaire's tax documents could contain a "bombshell."
The GOP front-runner said in an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper that he will "make a determination over the next couple of months" as to whether he will release his tax returns...
It was also an attack steeped in irony, since Romney was on the receiving end of similar claims by then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, when Democrats eviscerated him over his fortune and business record during the 2012 campaign. Reid zeroed in on his taxes, saying he hadn't paid any in a decade without offering any evidence to support the claim...

Well, is he going to release his tax records or will he just go on the attack, yet again. Seems a pretty reasonable request since candidates generally tend to release their tax records.
They sent Mitt out thinking he’s the biggest dog laying around on the GOPe porch who might be able to nip at Trump’s heels. Trump will kick him in the teeth and not miss a beat.
No. I don’t blame Romney. He had nothing to hide at all but was still pressured into releasing his tax returns.
Maybe The Don will release his if he gets enough delegates and it’s too late for us to see just how crooked he really is.
obama may sick the IRS on trump only if he wins the primaries. Chicago style politics is played that way.
And Cruz's American Citizenship documents. His mother's birth certificate does not substitute for his.

As Trump says about Cruz, you are such a liar. Trump is audited by the IRS every year. That’s EVERY YEAR to you, Trump hating fool that you are. If he is a crook, then the IRS knows all about it, don’t they, and he’d already be in jail. The only thing crooked, are the words that come out of your mouth every day on every thread you can find to badmouth Trump. We’re onto you toots, big-time.
I would be willing to bet that Obama ordered the recurring, semi-annual IRS colonoscopy on Trumps starting back when Barry Soetoro was forced to forge a Birth Certificate.
That is a valid point.
They do not want Cruz.
They probably do not want Rubio. Anyone can look at him and his fast talking slick answer for everything and see that he would be totally unreliable.
They would accept Kasich, but he has no chance.
So perhaps the plan at this point is to let Trump wipe all of them out and then we he is the last man standing, go after his taxes....as well as everything else.

If they know that there is a “Bombshell”, than someone has committed a felony by accessing Trumps Tax returns...
Unfortunately, what’s new about that — accessing tax returns to check on political opponents, even if it is a felony? And do honestly think that Trump is an honest, law-abiding man? He has an authoritarian streak a mile-wide; I could see Trump accessing tax returns, too.

Personally I was willing to take Mitt’s word for it in 2012 and this year I could care less about seeing the GOP candidate’s tax returns. They file required audited financials with the FEC so I could care less.
