Boxing star and Philippine Senate candidate Manny Pacquiao apologized Tuesday for denouncing people in gay relationships as "worse than animals" but said he stood by his opposition to same-sex marriage.
Fellow Filipino celebrities were among those criticizing his remarks, made when a TV network asked candidates about their views on same-sex marriage.
"It's just common sense," Pacquiao said in the remarks posted online by the TV5 network. "Have you seen any animal having male-to-male or female-to-female relations?"

Can he say that ‘gays’ are about the same as animals? That’s what I’d come back with.
I get awful tired of people apologizing for telling the truth.
Just yesterday some campus cop (looks 19 years old) at Univ. Texas gave a street preacher a ticket for offending people because he said things like keep your “legs together”, “war on the anus”, and “sorority girls are sluts”. He was not on school property.
Truth hurts. If you are a slut them expect to be called one.
Campus cops sure do think awfully highly of themselves.
Why apologize? What’s a gay gonna do to Manny if he doesn’t?

A warning, and an encouragement. People trapped in this sinful behavior are warned - but there were people in Corinth who fought the same sins and broke the chains - 'washed and justified in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God'.
If it is just outside the campus then they still have jurisdiction, however here I think it is 1,000 yards they do not.
Campus police are a joke anyway. People who are retired and want a cushy life now, or people who can’t hack real police work, or are perverts looking at college girls and yes I knew one guy who was like that.
Of course Manny is right to equate them with animals. The difference with animals and us is that we are supposed to be able to control ourselves, homosexuals cannot..
What a shock! Macho men who don’t like gay men. Used to be acceptable when I was young.
I didn’t read the article. Did the animals accept his apology?
I dare any homo to physically challenge the Pac man in person.
Make sure he never gets another TV appearance or Boxing match?

They used to cite the homo Bonobo monkeys as justification for “natural behavior”.
Then, Bonobos mysteriously wound up on the endangered species list and weren’t mentioned much, after that.
