Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul announced on Wednesday that he is suspending his 2016 campaign for president.
"It's been an incredible honor to run a principled campaign for the White House," Paul said in a statement. "Today, I will end where I began, ready and willing to fight for the cause of Liberty."
Paul finished fifth in Monday's Iowa caucuses with 4.5 percent of the vote -- behind rivals Ted Cruz, Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and Ben Carson.

Christi, Kasich and Bush need to go also. I expect Kasich and Christi to go after NH, but Bush seems determined to bring Rubio down and has enough money to stick around even though he has zero chance.

Paul had part of that supposed “outsider” status. If I had to guess most will turn toward Trump.

Iowa served it’s purpose... not to pick the winner, but to narrow the field.

Good thing Cruz and Ron are friends. This is one territory DT cannot raid for votes.

I don’t see how anyone in their right mind would want to be POTUS right now. The Obama regime is going to leave on hell of a mess to clean up. The commie lib “media” will blame the new president for Obama’s mess.

Excellent, isn’t his senate seat up this year? He needs to retain it. I agree. He was one of the most honest voices in this campaign.
I assume his support splits between Cruz and Rubio, but that is just a guess. I think he had both some liberty type supporters and some establishment type supporters.

I’m surprised the Cruz camp didn’t tweet that before the Iowa caucus.

The commie lib "media" will blame the new president for Obama's mess. This is true, and that is why we do not need or want a namby pamby nice guy to hold the office. Bush did us a disservice in not fighting back in the slightest as liberal flying monkey's sh*t all over our culture.
