Will America survive?

For nearly eight years, the Obama Administration shamelessly exploited popular issues, turning them into major news stories whenever they suited a political purpose. It didn't really matter what the issue was (race, religion, or border), or where it occurred (Benghazi, Libya, or Ferguson, Missouri). The intention was always the same: to weaken America by damaging its image and resolve. [...]

... During a private conversation with former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Obama carelessly exposed his administration's intent by making a historic blunder on tape before his second election. Simply put, he said, "I'll have more flexibility after election."

What exactly Obama meant by that is not known. What is known with some certainty, after reviewing his two terms in office, is that Obama has been sidestepping Congress by writing executive orders to avoid vetoes of his unpopular programs. Instead of withholding the monies for these programs, which Congress has the right to do by law, the Republican Congress has been giving the president exactly what he wants. The big question is: Why?

Something big is on the verge of happening. ...

Several links that followed below the fold resulted in this: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/17910

Old news to many here but needs repeating.

I read two articles at that site. Of all the Israeli media, that one seems factual and conservative-leaning. I'll go back and read your link; it's no trouble; it's interesting even though nothing is going to come of it.

The second article I read was about Hillary being so mediocre is so many words. Just when I am sickened that she has been endorsed by two newspapers, the Des Moines Register and the Boston Globe, probably many others. Also has been endorsed by 20 something military people. I just don't understand how it can be. Evidently it is in their best interest to endorse the vilest of corruptions.

That isn't a big mystery. They don't want to risk a government shutdown which they assume would play out badly for us.

I don’t believe the fear of being blamed for a shutdown. Any competent PR and marketing firm can help craft a winning communications strategy explaining to the people it is the president’s veto of the spending bill shutting down the government, not the failure of Congress to pass a bill.

The real reason Congress gives Obama what he wants is extortion. His files include details about mistresses, drug abuse, payoffs, tax evasion, and other care ending information. Even if the Congressman is clean, Obama has the dirt on family members. What GOP Congressman wants his wife’s abortion or son’s battle with drug addiction to become public knowledge.

I strongly suspect the prosecution of Dennis Hastert for breaking a law pertaining to bank withdrawals was the cover to out him for homosexuality and pedophelia. This outing occurred only a few months before the Republicans completely caved on the budget. The Hastert outing was a message. Those receiving the message performed as expected.

They don’t assume any such thing about a shutdown; they know it’s not a negative issue with voters, especially after the 2014 midterms (after they claimed it would hurt them). They want the government to keep running.

As you can see, the first few hits turn up left-wing sources. Wikipedia who cites the NYSlimes (headline “American Empire: Get Used To It”), Alternet, the Atlantic, Foreign Policy magazine, ad nauseam.
