Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad would like to see Ted Cruz defeated, he said on Tuesday.
The Iowa governor, whose powerful network of supporters is a prized political commodity, was speaking to reporters at the Iowa Renewable Fuels Summit. Branstad's son Eric is leading efforts to portray the Texas senator as hostile to ethanol, a narrative Cruz has been trying to stifle in recent weeks.
Asked if he'd like the Texas senator to lose, Governor Branstad said, "Yes."
"I think it would be very damaging to our state," he continued, according to Iowa's Channel 13 news. "I believe it would be a big mistake for Iowa to support him."

LOL, actually a point we agree on. Lets not even discuss the carb gumming up if you leave any fuel in the bowl over winter. Ethanol is death to small engines. Run 100% straight gas in all mine. Now if I can just get you to switch to Trump. ;-)
OPEC is cutting off their nose to spite their face. When oil prices rise, fracking will fire back up. OPEC is between a rock and a hard place. Oil will not be above about $50 a barrel in my lifetime in todays dollars (adjusted for inflation). OPEC’s hold on oil prices rising has been broken. The only thing they can do is delay the inevitable by price gouging as they have been doing. That gouging does have benefits too. Venezuela going broke. Russia not in a position to blackmail Europeans with energy. Denying Iran revenue. Lower fuel prices, which essentially are like tax cuts to our economy. Lots of benefits.
A RINO says Ted Cruz must be defeated? That’s another reason to vote for Cruz.
Check who backs Cruz gas and oil. Check who backed Perry. Texas oil wants to squeeze out ethanol. I doubt Cruz is all idiological here. Ethanal eats into oil profits...it depends about whose ox is being gored.

LOL, if you can get straight gas I am jealous. I have also tried about all the preservative additives on the market but none do anything about the alky. It attracts water, in all gas and condensation, and it is what causes the corrosive problems. MY main hope if Trump makes it is he is better than Hillary and does not revert back to a capital D.

Seriously, try that additive I mentioned. Only thing I have found that makes ethanol gas less hygroscopic and seems to keep rubber/plastic from degrading as fast.

Lot of wildcatters will unfortunately bare the brunt of the shakeout, but they are used to it.
What additive did you mention? It must have gotten swallowed by the ozone layer.

Wildcatters are a tough bunch. A lot of them got rich with fracking. Some are going to go broke. They can wait out Saudi overproducing. It is going to crush the House of Saud. The wildcatters got them their wealth and the wildcatters are going to take it away from them. Mark my words. Saudi Arabia is a welfare state. The cost of that welfare is YUDGE. When they run out of money.... KABLOYEEEE!!!

It is easy to act so high and mighty when it is not your own livelihood. If Cruz thinks Iowa farmers are going to unemploy themselves, it is not reality.
Where do you buy the straight 100% gas? None of the gas stations carry pure gas.
