Trump’s sister was backed up by Alito on the issue, it was a technical ruling. On the other hand, Cruz appointed Roberts.

Here’s Alito himself backing up Trump’s sister on the ruling.
It was purely a technical ruling.

But what was SAID was it was TRUMP wanting his sister appointed...and I showed where it wasn’t Trump saying that, and that she is retired now....she’s older than Trump...

And another fact: Tiffney (Trump’s youngest daughter) will be going to law school to get her degree because she wants to be like her Aunt....

How great is that!!! That family is a family that we should be praising...all the Trump kids are business people and is running Trump Enterprises now...Great Family!!!

This writer is overlooking the role of Congress in approving judicial appointments. Doesn’t fit the narrative.

Nice Post, but inaccurate.

1, Probably, who cares? He was one of many and he now knows it was a mistake considering that 94% of the Money Donated did not go to the People it was supposed to help.

2. He has also supported Republicans over Democrats.

3. Complete LIE, he supported McCain and in 2012 he supported Romney.

4. Yes, which he has discussed during his Presidential Campaign and he has admittedly changed positions. List:

He has a specific Pro Second American Platform, has a CC Permit and promotes expansion of Conceal Carry and banning Gun Free Zones on Military Bases. He has said that will take an EO to get done and he promised to do it on his first day in Office.

He is against Abortion (with exceptions, Rape and Incest) like most of the American People do, like it or not. He changed his Pro Choice position as many others have.

He wants to cut both Personal and Corporate Taxes and he has a very specific Tax Cut Plan in his Platform. He also wants to Lower Taxes to bring back Money that American based Corporations have kept off shore.

He wants to Repeal Obamacare and replace it with a Market Driven Healthcare Plan. I amazed at people who think Obamacare can just disappear and People will just get thrown off the Rolls without any type of Healthcare Coverage. Yeah, that will happen and the Congress will go right along with it. LOL... Anyone know of an Entitlement covering Millions of People that just went away, I don’t.

5. If you mean Pamela Gellar, you are correct. He said she was baiting a reaction and it happened. Many people agreed that she went over the line. I don’t, but we aren’t talking about me. Gellar was condemned by many, so Trump wasn’t alone in his condemnation. Some thought Gellar abused her First Amendment Rights the way someone who yells Fire in a crowed Movie Theater.

I’m a Cruz guy, but your list is not accurate and it only proves those Trump Supporters correct in their opinion that the Cruzers will do anything to attack them.

Sorry, try again.

John Roberts credentials weren’t in question when nominated, so no I wouldn’t be “trashing Trump” for making what looked like a good selection. If one were to second guess, the real battle was between Roberts and Alito for Chief Justice, and there Alito should have gotten it.

The problem with Roberts was that he didn’t have enough experience to make a good determination.

Whether that is right or not, that is something I read. It may or may not be true. If so, that sure comes back to haunt.

I agree with you, but let me tell you, if Trump’s first appointment comes back to haunt, I don’t care if he was pristine, you know as well as I do what we’ll hear about it.

I honestly think Ted is exposed on this. If it was true about Robert’s experience, then it bothers me.

No, the problem with Roberts is that he was reputed to be subject to blackmail by the Obamatons.

The blackmail relates to Roberts's legally questionable adoptions of foreign children in the past.

That was rather imprecise on my part. I should have used RECORD instead of experience there.

So no, I wouldn't give Ted a pass here. We should ALWAYS pick people with a robust record. Then you can look over a broad history of their thinking. Ted fails the best of being wise enough to realize this. As to your point, that may have played into it. I don't know.
