I keep trying to like Trump but then he says things like he did in the debate and in the days since. What's wrong with the guy? I agree with Levin. Knock it off! And I'm from New York. And yes Cruz was right about New York values.
Then you’ll have to go establishment. Cruz is toast for the nomination, might get Iowa but that would be it. Then you’re down to establishment.
Ted Cruz is correct about New York values (hello Whilhelm de Wilhelm/Bill DeBlasio). I am from Massachusetts. If some said it was Communist Massachusetts, I would agree with him. In fact, someone did say that to me at a pro Bush demonstration and he got no contradiction from me.

The “parade” was a loosely-organized mob. It knew what it wanted, but kept getting bogged down in details. He got out in front, named a destination, chose a route, hired a marching band, and started marching.
That’s when the mob became a parade.
That’s what leaders do.
I don’t care what he says. It’s what I hope he’ll do as president that gets my vote. We’ve had enough of the GOP saying one thing and doing another, let’s elect someone who has nothing to lose.
You don’t have to like him. Vote for whoever you think is the best. I did not like McCain or Romney but I ended up voting for both those losers in the general. I think the primary is more painful because the republicans are ripping on one another in order to win (either in debates or in ads or through surrogates).
That's worked so well in the past, gave us Obama. No matter what flaws Trump has, he's not in the establishment cabal. People including Rush & Hannity who have known him for years say he's definitely not a liberal. Don't believe everything you read.

I agree. He probably will be the nominee. My wife won’t vote for him. She’s conservative but thinks he’s a jerk. I probably would vote from him while holding my nose. But of course I’ve been holding my nose for a long time.
Trump is the best we have right now running. Cruz is a child like Obama.

The only pitchforks I ever see are in the hands of the Cruz fans. To them, we are the Trump mob, the Trumpkins, the Trumpbots, the Trumpanzees. To the Cruz fans, we are closet liberals who have spent 15 years on FR just for this moment when we could finally stop lying and become the liberals we always were. The insults go on and on.
Sorry...I don’t vote for liberals. THATS the lesson I learned.

It was a divisive thing to say. Reminded me of how Obama always pits people against each other - rich/poor black/white. Trump had a great come back on NY values. Ted’s remark will hurt him.
Despite what the vocal minority on FR yells, there are a lot of us who can never support Trump.
