Donald Trump rips 'son of a b----' who set up faulty mic at campaign rally
Business Insider ^ | 1/13/16 | Colin Campbell

Real-estate tycoon Donald Trump blasted the unnamed "bastard" responsible for setting up a faulty sound system at a Wednesday-night campaign rally.

"And by the way, I don't like this mic," Trump said after criticizing US trade policy with China during his speech in Pensacola, Florida.

The Republican presidential front-runner then crudely instructed his staff to not pay the person responsible.

"Whoever the hell brought this mic system, don't pay the son of a b----," he said.

Trump added: "This mic is terrible. Stupid mic keeps popping. Do you hear that George? Don't pay him! Don't pay him. You know, I believe in paying, but when somebody does a bad job like this stupid mic, you shouldn't pay the bastard. Terrible. Terrible. It's true."

Who would want to work for this guy?

Trump is too close to a mic and decides to publicly denigrate the sound technician.

He's all for the little guy.

Yeah all Trump’s employees hate him. Very smart conclusion.

9. In demolishing the Bonwit Teller building to make way for Trump Tower, you had no labor troubles, even though only about 15 unionists worked at the site alongside 150 Polish men, most of whom entered the country illegally, lacked hard hats, and slept on the site.

How did you manage to avoid labor troubles, like picketing and strikes, and job safety inspections while using mostly non-union labor at a union worksite - without hard hats for the Polish workers?

10. A federal judge later found you conspired to cheat both the Polish workers, who were paid less than $5 an hour cash with no benefits, and the union health and welfare fund. You testified that you did not notice the Polish workers, whom the judge noted were easy to spot because they were the only ones on the work site without hard hats.

What should voters make of your failure or inability to notice 150 men demolishing a multi-story building without hard hats?

21 Questions for Donald Trump

The mans a sham. He’s playing the Republican electorate like a violin and sheeple are loving it.

As always, we’ll get what we deserve.

Again? That son of a b*tch who set up that microphone must be a real ba*tard if Trump called him out AGAIN days after this happened.

Oh ,wait! You’re just a Cruz supporter trying to cover up your candidate’s pathetic debate performance by digging up an article that was already posted on FR with hundreds of comments days ago!

Never mind.

The sound guy should have unplugged the board and told Trump to shove the mic where the sun don't shine.

"I'm not getting paid? I'm outta here."

You can trust Trump. He's not like the others.

I listened to the speech.

That mic was terrible, and according to Rush a lot of people in the audience couldn’t hear a lot of the speech because of the mic.

I’m glad he called the guy out.

That kind of holding people accountable is one of the things needed to Make America great Again.

I love it. When you work for President Trump you are measured by your performance, not who you know.

The mans a sham. He's playing the Republican electorate like a violin and sheeple are loving it. As always, we'll get what we deserve.

The media is sitting on a pile of his sleazy business practices, hoping that he wins the nomination.

Yes, if we elect him, we'll get what we deserve.

Trump set a new low by waving the bloody shirt last night, citing 9/11 during the debate. Pathetic. But Fox picked up the baton this morning.

The Establishment will take anyone but Cruz.

The actions of the OP are far more in danger of causing a credibility deficit than my screen name, which did come from the Dummie Funnies here at FR, which you would know if you had participated there.

Again? That son of a b*tch who set up that microphone must be a real ba*tard if Trump called him out AGAIN days after this happened.

So Trump couldn't figure out that he had to stand back from a condenser mic, for TWO days? Or did he just ignore the people who told him that you have to stand 4-16 inches away?

What a dope.

And then he blames a technician.

How many campaign rallies has trump done??? But this one has noise in the mic and all the others do not? yea sure he was standing too close to the mic What ever makes you feel better. But shouldn’t that have been discovered when they TESTED the mic??? If I hire someone to set up sound and it doesn’t work they better make it right or yea, their not getting paid.

You know what a sham is? Ted Cruz voting for the Corker bill that subverted the constitution and GUARANTEED the Iran deal would be ratified and then railing against the very Iran deal Ted Cruz himself voted to enable.

That’s a sham.

Did he come up with an improvised plan to be heard? Ask for another mic? Or just let it go and not pay the guy? How have the buildings he constructed weather over time?

When you work for Trump you're measured by your performance?

Tell it to these guys.

9. In demolishing the Bonwit Teller building to make way for Trump Tower, you had no labor troubles, even though only about 15 unionists worked at the site alongside 150 Polish men, most of whom entered the country illegally, lacked hard hats, and slept on the site.
Trump settled after appealing the case for almost 20 years.

The judge on the case said the Polish illegals were easy to spot since they were doing demo work without hard hats.

And why would Trump be hiring illegals, anyway? Is that what you have to do to get things done?

There are ways to measure performance denigrating someone to others is not the way. You manage up or out. This is a sign that he isnt just angry at how the country is being run he is an angry person in general
