Trump is too close to a mic and decides to publicly denigrate the sound technician.
He's all for the little guy.
Yeah all Trump’s employees hate him. Very smart conclusion.
9. In demolishing the Bonwit Teller building to make way for Trump Tower, you had no labor troubles, even though only about 15 unionists worked at the site alongside 150 Polish men, most of whom entered the country illegally, lacked hard hats, and slept on the site. How did you manage to avoid labor troubles, like picketing and strikes, and job safety inspections while using mostly non-union labor at a union worksite - without hard hats for the Polish workers?
10. A federal judge later found you conspired to cheat both the Polish workers, who were paid less than $5 an hour cash with no benefits, and the union health and welfare fund. You testified that you did not notice the Polish workers, whom the judge noted were easy to spot because they were the only ones on the work site without hard hats.
What should voters make of your failure or inability to notice 150 men demolishing a multi-story building without hard hats?
The mans a sham. He’s playing the Republican electorate like a violin and sheeple are loving it.
As always, we’ll get what we deserve.
Again? That son of a b*tch who set up that microphone must be a real ba*tard if Trump called him out AGAIN days after this happened.
Oh ,wait! You’re just a Cruz supporter trying to cover up your candidate’s pathetic debate performance by digging up an article that was already posted on FR with hundreds of comments days ago!
Never mind.
I listened to the speech.
That mic was terrible, and according to Rush a lot of people in the audience couldn’t hear a lot of the speech because of the mic.
I’m glad he called the guy out.
That kind of holding people accountable is one of the things needed to Make America great Again.
It was a terrible mess. It’s time we made public address systems great again.
I love it. When you work for President Trump you are measured by your performance, not who you know.
It was one of the funniest remarks of the night. He will make a great President.
Pray America wakes
How many campaign rallies has trump done??? But this one has noise in the mic and all the others do not? yea sure he was standing too close to the mic What ever makes you feel better. But shouldn’t that have been discovered when they TESTED the mic??? If I hire someone to set up sound and it doesn’t work they better make it right or yea, their not getting paid.
Did he come up with an improvised plan to be heard? Ask for another mic? Or just let it go and not pay the guy? How have the buildings he constructed weather over time?
Who would want to work for this guy?
Trump is too close to a mic and decides to publicly denigrate the sound technician.
He’s all for the little guy.

A awful lot of people are pleased to work for Trump and take pride in doing a job to his satisfaction.
Oh sure, Trump doesn’t have a clue how to talk into a mic. How many thousands of hours has he used a mic?
Under Trump, you either perform or you are fired - simple rules.
I did business with Trump. I did what I said I was going to do. I got paid.
In most venues, the sound system technicians are union members. Do we have to draw you a picture?
BTW I swear at things and people that don’t work or do their job all the time. Trump is just human, I guess.
Donald Trump throws protesters out into the cold and confiscates their coats.
Donald Trump throws out silently protesting Muslim women in burkas.
Waaah!
I would work for him in a skinny minute. The best bosses I’ve had have had his personality and temperament. Of course, under-achievers didn’t fare well under these bosses. They expect the best for accomplish goals. And they’ve also had the best sense of humor, and were the kindest. Do your job; do it right. Everybody’s happy.
Sounds like he’s trying to project an image of a fellow who will demand that everything works right.
He could stand to learn that getting into a fury is not always the best way to get things to work right. Nonetheless, there are a whole passel of wrong things for which to many, currently, fury looks like the only immediate answer, because it is due to self-occupied bums.
Cruz is calmer, and could make a point here that Donald is needlessly losing his cool. However he also needs to make a point that he’s going to do something about these problems that Donald keeps highlighting, or instead of careful thinker he just looks like wimp.
I lean to the careful thinker side, IF it has a credible answer. It’s when it doesn’t, that the temple has to be cleansed.
The inside the Beltway crowd would have payed him. And would pass law requiring everyone to pay for poor service.
Union Cretins be damned!
Fix it or “You’re Fired”.
Love It!

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.
It’s THAT simple.
“Too close to the mic” shouldn’t be a problem. Trump is familiar with using mics, uses them often, and doesn’t run into such problems. The sound system should be set up to work fine from any distance from 1+ feet away to “eating the mic”; at worst, the sound guy should be able to make a quick sound booth adjustment and resolve it before Trump notices it.
As comparisons:
When wireless mics are used in high-profile gigs, the sound crew ALWAYS puts brand-new batteries in so there is NO chance of the mic dying from an old battery.
When setting up a stage, sound crews will spend HOURS minutely checking EVERY mic and speaker.
THAT is how uptight the sound crew is _supposed_ to be, making sure that the performer NEVER notices the sound system because it works perfectly every time.
SOMEBODY should have, well before the debate, “got too close to the mic” and heard the problem, and proceeded to replace the mic with one that COULD handle “too close”.
Trump’s time is worth over $8 per _second_ ... and that’s when averaged across 24/7/365. Just the time he spent noticing (not commenting!) the problem cost him more than I make in an hour (waste an hour of my time and I’ll get cheesed off too).
