Has the State Department released a smoking gun in the Hillary Clinton e-mail scandal? In a thread from June 2011, Hillary exchanges e-mails with Jake Sullivan, then her deputy chief of staff and now her campaign foreign-policy adviser, in which she impatiently waits for a set of talking points. When Sullivan tells her that the source is having trouble with the secure fax, Hillary then orders Sullivan to have the data stripped of its markings and sent through a non-secure channel.
That should be game, set, and match, yes?

These emails were sent just a few days after Hillary visited a Symbion plant in Tanzania. She was there in Dar es Salaam on 13 June, 2011. The former annoying ambassador to Gabon Joseph Wilson of Valerie Plame ‘superspy’ fame was also involved in that Symbion visit... according to an article in the Daily Caller.

There was at least one email sent in this time that was just reclassified.
Presumably, the aide followed her instructions did what he was told by Hillary.
Just check the document that was the work product of Hillary's command.
In my experience, even the scenario you offer is still classified. You might raise or lower its classification by specificity, but discussing troop movements is itself a non-starter. Loose lips sink ships is still the watchword... especially for someone at Hillary's level of classification.

I wouldn’t worry about that. Jim Comey is a stand-up guy and he will ensure that the Bureau does its job. Furthermore, while by no means perfect, FBI agents hate being played for fools by investing thousands of hours in an investigation only to see it go up in smoke. The real question is, once the Bureau refers the case for indictment, what will Loretta Lynch do?

Obama’s power is waning because in a year there will be a new President.
The two most likely Presidents are Trump and Cruz.
Both will campaign on cleaning house in Washington if they are elected.
They will do what GW Bush should have done when he took over from Clinton.

This is interesting - there has been a prior kerfuffle over how many secret email addresses Hillary had.
She claims only one.
But she has two email addresses - hrod17 and HDR22. This has been explained away as the one account’s name being change from HDR22 to hrod17, when she left office...and emails originally sent under HDR22 now show hrod17 when opened and printed years later. Here’s the explanation:

But in this one string, both accounts show up. So the explanation doesn’t make sense. The 8:17 email doesn’t go to either address...just goes to “H”. H may be a drop box of sorts, that notifies both accounts.
I’m also curious about the secure fax...was this in her office? Or did she have one of those at her house too.

Good catch. Even the FROM format changes between e-mails (different system used??).
For a private e-mail server, with a ‘limited’ amount of users, why the numbering (HROD17@, HDR22@ [what the hell does HDR stand for??)?
As an admin, that would be a nightmare! Setting up all the aliases, secondary/third/fourth/etc. I can think of NO reason to do so in a ‘real world scenario’.
Course, she’ll say SHE didn’t admin...
Odd, too, is the redacted subjects. If those needed redacting (for public consumption), then the transmissions THEMSELVES should have been secured, no? I still haven’t read/heard that her side WAS.
Smoking gun? More like a nuclear explosion.
But, don’t forget, Hillary wears NBC pantsuits.

IDK, no subject line? It could mean something other than a classification label. Making assumptions is a good way to be disappointed.

So, TP stands for talking points then? If that’s all they were, you’re probably right in thinking that they weren’t classified, just political.
Even so, someone should be asking various parties, including Hillary, what they understand “nonpaper” to mean. From her email, it would appear she expected that term to be understood by Sullivan.
Also, as someone else pointed out, she used two separate email accounts in that series.
