Mike Huckabee: 'I Plan To Finish First In Iowa'
Breitbart ^ | 7 Jan 2016 | Alex Swoyer

Posted on 01/07/2016 7:16:28 PM PST by Red Steel

"I plan to finish first in Iowa," Huckabee said on Thursday morning. "I know a lot of people have written me off, but they wrote me off eight years ago. They wrote Rick Santorum off four years ago. I'm still counting that we're going to have a big surprise for people on February first."

"This is not a surrender. This is an all out declaration," Huckabee charged, adding that he wouldn't be working this hard if he didn't think he can win.

"There is no short cut here," he continued, explaining that candidates can send out mailers and buy up all of the radio and TV ads in Iowa, "but bottom line, if you don't come out here and look these folks..."

Huckabee is familiar with how voters in Iowa tend to think, as Huckabee won the Iowa caucus in 2008 when he last ran for President of the United States.

"We're going to actually hit our milestone of having conducted town halls in every one of the 99 counties of Iowa," Huckabee told Bannon, adding that he is doing 150 events in the Hawkeye state in January.

-snip-

Huckabee also said he would also stop trade deals that are "costing millions of Americans their jobs."

I planned to retire in my 20’s as a multimillionaire married to a supermodel, with the same results he’s going to have.

I’m sure that Huckabee has a few supporters left in Iowa. Maybe even enough to come in fifth behind Cruz, Trump, Rubio, and Fiorina.

Trump told a story tonight about a town hall Maryland Governor O’Malley held where only one person showed up...so the governor talked to the person one on one for an hour. Asked later if he planned to vote for O’Malley in the primary the guy said no.

I hope Huckabee doesn’t have to live through that embarrassment.

And I plan to win the $700 million Powerball jackpot. Who has a better chance of seeing his plan come to pass?

He’s probably right. He was finished in Iowa a long time ago.

Darn it! I was planning to win it all for myself and not have to share it. Sometimes, I guess, plans don’t work out. :^)

You all should see the recent thread on Huckabee at Hot Gas (I’m too lazy to link to it). His Huckabiciousness is absolutely jaw-dropping.

What a douche.

"I plan to finish first in Iowa," Huckabee said on Thursday morning.

Translation: Even though I've got no chance to finish in the top three, please keep the dream alive by sending me money.

Huck’s done, and he never even got off the ground. Sad way to go out, but I guess he’s doing it with heart.

Or maybe he’s just that crazy.
