Too bad the NY Post can’t be bothered to expend this much effort investigating Clinton Foundation filings.

I read this. It seems the NRA took advantage of opportunities in filing (leaving questions blank, and possible legal interpretation of questions other than the government intended, etc.)
Regardless, and although I’m not a fan of the NRA per se, I’d be willing to bet that what they did was legal, at worst successfully arguable in court. The NYP was given help on this ‘report’ - likely from the government and/or DNC. This is just a preemptive bow shot to the NRA in its run up to combat the tyrants coming gun-taking edicts.
One could only hope the NYP goes after the Clinton Foundation with such journalistic integrity.

One of Obama’s goals for 2016 is gun control. Looks like the IRS is his weapon of choice. Again.

On the eve of Obama announcing executive action on guns that the NRA has vowed to fight in court, the administration unleashed the IRS on another political enemy.

I am sure the NRA has been audited going back to Clinton and if there was a problem the IRS would have been all over them

Lawfare on the part of the left is nothing new. The press as a pet tool of the left is nothing new (they are indistinguishable). The mendacity of the President's party is nothing new.
Remember that when you vote.

The NRA (member services) and NRA-ILA (lobbying) are two separate organizations.

Totally unconnected to Obama’s recent gun grab rhetoric.
Let’s have an investigation of the Post’s connections to the administration.

Sure. You can believe the Post. Like the IRS hasn’t been all over the NRA’s paperwork.
