He was supposed to win the GOP nomination easily and just six months ago, it appeared he would do just that. He had tens of millions of donor dollars at the ready, the approval of the GOP Establishment, and a successful stint as governor of one of the most important swing states in the country.
Nothing went as planned.

Do not need the Clinton name nor Bush for this election. Really do not hate either just do not want a dynasty in the US. Gonna vote for Cruz or maybe Trump when the Tx primary comes around.
No. In a different year, a different cycle, he might do well. I might be "satisfied" with him as a candidate.
But we're in a huge mess, and we don't need a "get along" type to represent our party. It's high time we took off the gloves, or the nation we know will cease to exist.
I supported his brother. I think he was a better than average President. The scales fell from my eyes when he tried to nominate his friend Harriet Something-or-Other for the Supreme Court.
Honestly. Being the President's friend was ample qualification for the Supreme Court? The fool Hatch had signaled for an "easy" candidate who wouldn't ruffle feathers, and he was falling right in line until conservatives rightfully threw a fit.
Jeb is the kind of guy who would do something that stupid, just to not make waves.
