The Storm That Will Unfreeze the North Pole
The Atlantic ^ | Robinson Meyer

Posted on 12/29/2015 2:10:51 PM PST by Timpanagos1

The sun has not risen above the North Pole since mid-September. The sea ice—flat, landlike, windswept, and stretching as far as the eye can see—has been bathed in darkness for months.

In other words, it’s a typical late-December day at the North Pole.

“In other words, it’s a typical late-December day at the North Pole.”

And the author has no clue.

Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein was written during the little ice age and it shows throughout the book with endless descriptions of ice, snow, and cold.

Elect Trump. Polar ice will stabilize, sea levels will recede, the earth will be saved.

A storm is weather. Unfreezing the North Pole would be Climate. No wonder they can't tell changing of the seasons and invented gorebull weather.

The mean temperature north of 80 degrees N latitude is 244 degrees Kelvin today (0 degrees Celsius is 273.17 degrees K). Even if somewhere north of 80 N latitude records something above zero C, the mean is not going to budge very much.

It is scary, almost as scary as an AR-15/AK-47 Glock with laser fed magazine. One of those could kill you, and lots of Polar Bears.

In order for this huge, hot storm to reach Iceland on Wednesday, it’s punching right through the Jet Stream

Nonsense. The storm isn't "punching through the Jet Stream". It's the Jet Stream that is buckling allowing the storm to go far north.

And on the cold side of the buckle, there was a lot of snow in NE Mexico the last few days.

The poles will always be cold because they receive less solar radiation. The same as if the rotation of the earth was slower, nights would be considerably colder.

Everybody knows Glocks use clips. Magazines are what metrosexuals read at the hairdresser. Clips attach to the fully automatic silencers. Jeez, get it right!

It is really too bad that poor God did not know about Anthropogenic Global Warming when He gave us this promise in His word...

Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

2015 is the warmest year ever recorded. Thirteen of the top 14 warmest years on the books have happened this century

""If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State" Joseph Goebbels
