A growing number of British Muslims are being stopped from going to America as the country's presidential race is being dominated by Donald Trump's controversial call to prevent Muslims entering the country, an imam has claimed.
Ajmal Masroor said he had been prevented from boarding a New York-bound flight last week at the last minute and had heard of 20 other similar cases.
He said the issue had been occurring for some time, but checks appeared to have become more strict in recent weeks as the US presidential race has been overshadowed by the Mr Trump's controversial proposal to prevent extremist attacks.

Perhaps a bit earlier than typical, the informal part of the transition to power is starting.
I think it apropos, with the pendulum needing to shift such a great distance from marxism/dictatorship to constitutional/republic.

Obummer knows that every incident costs Hillary votes. As for the Imam, “20” is an awfully round number...there are rarely exactly 20 such separate incidents and one person is aware of all 20. 14, I’d buy it. 20? Pound sand loser.
Are these the only people denied entry into the US? If there are others, then this is merely BS.
Of course it is not due to Trump.
And how did this guy hear of 20 other cases?
It’s a concerted effort. It’s win win. They either get to the US or don’t, thus determining how extreme they can be, and when denied entry have their sob story public propaganda make it seem how poor Muslims are unfairly treated.
Obama's history has been to double down when people get upset over his practices.
To believe that the State Department is turning back Muslims, is to believe in Santa Clause - and for the record, I found out the truth on the jolly old man when I was 7 yrs. old!
If this is true at all, the State Dept. must be telling people to first go to Mexico, then walk across the border. No problemo!

The first thing I’d say to Ajmal about the “report of 20 families denied entry” is PROVE IT, MUSLIM. Reports are, I heard, some say, we fear blah, blah blah effing blah.
Prove it! Or shut the hell up, you damned victim. A guy with 9 kids wants to travel with kids 8 to 19 over the Christmas wants to travel to California to visit Disneyland and ‘relatives?’ 11,000 pounds in tickets and Allah knows how much else in accommodations, etc. We are expected to believe he just squeezed out 11,000 pounds for a family vacay? Ok, I’ll bite. Where’d you get it Muhammed or whatever you call yourself? These kids and you and wifey aren’t going to scatter to the four winds and join your cells?

Article says that Homeland Security revoked the visas when the family got to the airport. It’s their call and as an American citizen, I have to assume and hope they made the right decision.

I agree this is probably staged propaganda with little or no fact.
But what I find entertaining when reading the various comments is what people read into it that is simply not there. It has the effect of making more propaganda.
One can only hope but as the great Rinald Reagan once said about the former Soviet Inion, “Trust but verify.”
