Someone ask the ignorant dip-shit where the Saturn 5 rockets to the moon were built.

Not just built there, they were also designed in Huntsville.

Washington senator, Patty Murray said that people in Alabama weren’t smart enough to build an airplane.

The dems put Patty Murray as the chair of the budget committee. Patty was a P.E. teacher. Her major in college was Physical Education. She’s damn sure not smart enough to be head of the budget committee. I believe she offers a fine explanation as to why this nation is so screwed up. If that is the best the demos had to be chair of their budget committee, we’re really screwed.

Patty got her start in politics by showing up at political events. She wanted to show that a sneaker mom could go to Washington. She had cute slogans the demos used to help elect a sneaker mom.

She is incompetent. She’s certainly not one of our best and brightest. She’s an idiot.

They were that much a copy because the sunk costs and the idiocy of the government to buy so few. If they had bought the 100-150 as specified they’d have been less than $1b per.

I’m glad Northrup got this one, they don’t seem like super cheats and Lockheed already has too much as it is. Boeing maybe, but they haven’t had a proven stealth plane yet.

Didn’t Boeing screw over some of their congressional whores when they shifted production to different states?

How does Boeing expect their politicians to ‘stay bought’ if they don’t keep their part of the bargain?

Boeing got congressional whores in Kansas to help overthrow the Northrop-EADS tanker contract. Soon after they helped, Boeing moved 10,000+ jobs out of Kansas.

The politicians were suckers. Did Boeing’s dirty work but then got stabbed in the back.

So far it’s proved to be a good decision. For the most part they are based in Missouri and fly their missions from there. (Do they still require special climate controlled hangars?). They do the initial bombings over some Muslim country, then after that B1’s and B52’s can do the rest of the missions.

Their first missions were to scan out and bomb Topal-M mobile nuclear launchers after a first strike.

They then moved to a 3rd triad, after the B1-B was denuked. This replacement should be a heavy 3rd triad and not worry so much on hitting the mobile Topal-M’s which are still an impossible-to-stop weapon.

Boeing's especially upset that an insider isn't just selecting Boeing's bid, hell or high water, like it used to be done.

Boeing not in on F-35. Those overruns seem OK. All overruns are created equal. Some overruns are more equal than others.

Northrop/EADS lost the contract because the original evaluation gave them credit for bidding a larger-than-requested airplane, even though the original RFP said no extra credit would be given for a larger airplane.
