GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump, who seems to grow stronger in the polls with every controversial remark that he makes, is crushing the competition in YouTube views. That is according to a recent analysis conducted by ZEFR, which bills itself as the video identification technology company for content owners and brands.
ZEFR analyzed YouTube data for the top 10 Republican and Democratic candidates for the week of Nov. 30 to Dec. 6.
Not only is Trump beating his Republican rivals by a nearly 8-to-1 margin, but he had more than double the views of likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and almost four times as many engagements, which is considered a more reliable measure of performance.

Well, hard as it may be to believe, it does. Jason Mattera, “Obama’s Zombies,” did a study of social media in 2008 and found it played a key role in Zero’s election. He utterly crushed McCain in youtubes, FB, and the rest. Often-—not always-—youtube is people watching and listening to Trump speaking. Yeah, it can be other stuff, but you can bet a LOT of people are researching Trump’s campaign stops.
Leaving what content? The Weather Channel? ;-)
And possibly the spacebook zombies, meme generators, and LOLcat videos.

Unless there is some historical record against which to gauge the meaning of this, it is irrelevant this time around. The explosive growth of online media such as youtube doesn’t appear to have any known correlative value, although it is a data point worth noting. But the meaning is unknown.
