I submit that tyranny and colonialism have decreased significantly in the 2.4 centuries of our independence, especially in comparison to any other time period. The sacrifices of 3+ wars, WW1 & WW2 and the Cold War kept tyrannies in check that were otherwise all too likely to win. Even in WW1, it was the USofA’s economic strength that did much to sustain the Allies even before its entry into the armed conflict!
How about economic benefits deriving from the USofA? From agriculture to technology to weather forecasting, the impact of the USofA has been an enormous benefit to the entire globe. The ability of the USofA to publicize new methods even though not invented by them is one of the principal ‘crimes’ cited by those who call the USofA, “The Great Satan!”
